I remember saying "oh crap no" when that second fissure opened up closer to Grindavik. Had it just been the main fissure that opened up that morning it would have been ok. Most of the fissure opened up more on the northern side of the berm which meant most of the lava was flowing away from Grindavik. The smaller section on the Grindavik side could have been dealt with since that was a slow moving flow which was spreading out more from what I'd seen on the cameras.
