I thought Shadow Priest was gonna be the first hybrid healer in WoW, like mainly DPSes while passively healing, they had that niche in Vanilla and TBC already. But they put their eggs in the Disc basket instead. They also just made Shaman a straight up DPS. I think the hybrid healer thing is busted in PVP which is why they won't do it. Shamans are already kind of a hybrid healer in SoD and they are down right busted. It's not that they CAN heal, it's HOW they heal.

I like DPSing and I like DPSing as a healer also. What I don't like is DPSing in Dragonflight lol. Similar to how I only like tanking in Classic expansions. DPSing in Dragonflight feels bad to me, it feels like you're hitting a meatshield for 30 minutes straight, stuff feels like it has a minimum duration of life no matter what buttons you press or what your ilvl is, it feels like everything scales directly with your iLvl. and that feels really bad, the scaling is really tight. Everything has trillions and trillions of HP, from the crab walking around, to the world boss, to the random mob inside a heroic dungeon, it doesn't feel like WoW to me, the DPS role I mean. What happened to blowing stuff up?

Healer should be less than everyone as an dps because its meant to heal, not beating a full dps (even aug)

I generally follow the wowhead guide but TLDR version; 1) Use beacon of Virtue if theres aoe damage 2) Spend 5 holy power on Word of Glory or Light of dawn 3) Holy shock if 2 charges 4) Flash of light with infusion procs 5) Holy shock with 1 charge 6) Flash of light Holy paladin primarily revolves around using cooldowns properly(Divine toll, wings, etc..) more so than other healers. Certainly not a pro, but I do alright :)

Idk how hard it is to go over ur vids w audio after they are recorded but I remember tankspot guides used too to explain different phases or when to pop cooldowns or avoid stuff

Not to hard at all. You could even do another recording of yourself and lay it over the other self recording piece with audio. Good thought though. Guides definitely seem to be one of the better preforming vids on youtube in general.

Guides are hard. People make them easy to do. I've tried a few and still trying to figure out how to give the information clearly and concisely. Maybe eventually though

Also a bug at launch! We tried logging out, and walking out of the instance. We had the Discover's Delight buff when we were outside of the raid but NOT while we were inside

Thankfully, they've fixed the Discover's Delight buff not working in raid but the final boss STILL doesn't give XP for some reason
