Great video and very helpful. I assembled my Pax 2.0 wardrobes today. I ordered a run of 50+100+50cm carcasses, 236cm tall with Reinsvoll doors. Worth mentioning the 50cm wide units now also fold in the centre like the 100cm do. The hardest part was unfolding them whilst vertical, but once the back rail was in place assembly was a breeze. The design of these is really well thought through, and the tall units feel quite sturdy. Really pleased how it turned out.

Love the little curtain! I'm considering doing something similar when we do our utility room so I can hide a litter tray 🤔

The smaller holes at the front of the bottom are similar to the first PAX. They are used with sliding doors for the aluminium rails screws. This is shown in the instructions for sliding doors, which I just did a few weeks ago.

We have just assembled our bed and noticed when putting the frame down with the hydraulics, it won't stay down, put a mattress on top and it did. Why is that?

Hi. My window I similar to yours. The sill or the bottom part is quite short. What did you do to lengthen it on the corners? Specifically, after putting the wider main piece, I see a smaller decorative trim on the side and bottom. But how’d you fill in the tiny gap that was left?

Brilliant work! As I don’t have the skills or the perseverance that you possess I probably would have matched the doors to the white on the first cupboard and applied a white oak veneer to their backs.

I'll have to move with a lot of the old PAX and I know it'll be a horror especially because of the nails in the back panel. This new design looks amazing, can't wait to see it in person! Thank you very much for sharing!

Such a pity they did this. Ikea PAX now has no quality at all anymore. The old version was much sturdier than this version.

No metal fixings and no screwdriver kinda makes me want to run for me life, how on earth is this thing stable & what guarantee is there that it will not fall apart in few months time

I just built an entire closet with the old system alone - 4 units plus the corner attachment. The hardest part was attaching the back alone . I wish I waited and got this new system where the back problem is solved.

You did well to film all that, it will make a great online manual for people to follow 🎥 You took one for the team, taking that all apart and re-building it 🔨 Shame about that broken piece People shouldn’t be put off by the older version, I think they are pretty easy to put together, as long as you have the space to build them and the strength to lift them, they aren’t difficult It’s not been the warmest of June’s 🥶
