Hi sorry if This is a repetitive question I couldn’t see it had been asked - are the pax 2’s in stock now? I’ve checked online and I can’t see a way to check, the old assembly instruction are still linked to the product but realise that could just be a lag in getting the site updated, thanks! Sorry to make you ikea customer services 😂😂
@kirstygriffiths7495 сағат бұрын
The beige / grey is in stock in the standard depth. I’m told the rest will start arriving in the UK from July. You can tell by the back catches on the image, if it has the two high up middle pieces it’s the new pax. No idea why IKEA are keeping it so secret.

Great video and very helpful. I assembled my Pax 2.0 wardrobes today. I ordered a run of 50+100+50cm carcasses, 236cm tall with Reinsvoll doors. Worth mentioning the 50cm wide units now also fold in the centre like the 100cm do. The hardest part was unfolding them whilst vertical, but once the back rail was in place assembly was a breeze. The design of these is really well thought through, and the tall units feel quite sturdy. Really pleased how it turned out.
@kirstygriffiths74919 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the feedback on the new Pax . I think the multiple folds are the 75 & 100 in the shorter depth.

The smaller holes at the front of the bottom are similar to the first PAX. They are used with sliding doors for the aluminium rails screws. This is shown in the instructions for sliding doors, which I just did a few weeks ago.

Hi. My window I similar to yours. The sill or the bottom part is quite short. What did you do to lengthen it on the corners? Specifically, after putting the wider main piece, I see a smaller decorative trim on the side and bottom. But how’d you fill in the tiny gap that was left?

Hello 👋🏻 newbie here so thank you for the great video on how to build the base. Desperately trying to understand that do the Pax just go on top of the ply wood you just put on top of the wooden base ? Is it strong enough.
@kirstygriffiths7495 күн бұрын
You don’t need to add the plywood really. As long at the pax sits on the wooden base it’s is perfectly strong.

Great video!! I would love to know how easy it is to cut holes into the back panel or side panels now for plug sockets etc? or do a full hack and cut one of the new Pax’s in half!?
@kirstygriffiths7495 күн бұрын
It’s easy to cut a hole in the back. I’d use a Stanley knife. I’m not sure cutting these in half would be possible with all the new fixings.

Hi! I was planning a Pax hack soon ( I need to cut it so it's about 7 cm shorter). With the new Pax 2.0, would you suggest shortening the bottom or the top?
