Video would be better with the music being lower or even without music at all. Just the sound of the motorcycle, the air and the sounds of nature.

@@invertedstatesofamerica you're welcome man. Video is dope though. While stating "angry" mood, I would chose the song "Decadence" from Disturbed or "Ready, Steady, Go" from Paul Oakenfold if I had to chose the song for my video. Check them out for maybe future video

This brought back some memories. This was literally my backyard growing up when we would trespass on what was then Matilija Ranch property. We were always avoiding the ranch hands. I was so happy that most of the land became a preserve instead of housing developments.

Hell yea. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, you are the exact reason I made vids like this. That area is so beautiful, spent many years there, however I no longer live in Ca, do miss the land though!

@@invertedstatesofamerica I can relate. I really miss living in Ojai. I tried really hard to stay after high school but finally had to accept reality and move away for college. I try and get back often. I'd go more often if L.A. wasn't in between where I live in San Diego county. I'll be in Ojai for my 50th class reunion on 9/7/24 and am performing music on 9/6/24 at the Ojai Brewing company.

Where’s the entrance to the river shown in the video? I live in Ventura but I only know 2 of the access points but not this one.

Be careful, a lot of the river channel is private and the rangers patrol it regularly.

They do now. They didn't mind the dozens of homeless encampments, and illegals driving their cars to work the farms. There's no "No trespassing" signs and no fence. Don't worry, we're not based in Ca anymore, no more worshiping of the state.

Back in the "Good Ol' Days" around 1979 right there @ 8:15 in your video we had a massive party under the bridge there that had a live band on a stage built with pallets and a huge bonfire in between the north & southbound lanes of the 101 bridge that was so high the flames could be seen from cars passing by on the bridge. There were literally hundreds of people and hundreds of 4X4 vehicles all up and down the river bottom as it was a very popular place to have a "good time". As is often the case with large events like this......someone phoned it in and the police and fire department showed up and began to shut it all down as best they could. Almost 45 years later....I still remember the Good Ol' Days! We used to start at Wagon Wheel and ride our 110ATC's all the way to Santa Paula where we would travel through a local burger drive-thru usually covered in mud for lunch....and then go back the way we came!

I was at that party when the pallets were lit. It was better than Pismo.
