14 coals… times 25° each= 350…. You don’t need 100 calls on top that’s why it got burnt.

It's either they are clearing things out and adding carbon to the soil by burning them in order to grow blackberries OR they are getting rid of blackberries by digging them up and burning them and it's understandable because blackberries are vicious persistent little bastards and if you don't want them around extreme things might need to happen

In 1970 the GSX came in ONLY 2 colors, Apollo White and Saturn Yellow, but in 71, and 72, they could be ordered in other colors. I know that this one is not a GSX, but it looks like it is white, and sold white with black stripes like an original GSX are beautiful, no vinal top please don't put that rust maker back on it unless you are going to the trouble of spending a fortune to restore this thing to original, but it's all up to you and how much money you have to spend on the car.

It's going to be difficult and very expensive to find everything for the car in order to restore, or restomod it, but if you can afford it, it will be an awesome and fun ride. If you can't find a useable Stage 1 or that one is no good, then buy a Stage 1 from TA Performance and buy some Stage 2 heads and headers if you want a runner, and if you can afford it buy their aluminum block. You will have one strong car, that they don't make anymore. My brother had a white 1972 Stage 1 no vinal top to rust out the back glass and, and it was in mint condition. It out ran almost everything on the street at that time in the late 70s and early 80s.

I took this on a camping trip last December. I used a 4P 4-season tent in temperature that got to 16 degrees. The heater helped but because it got so cold that all condensation inside de tent freeze. All walls were covered with a sheet of ice…. I keep the vents opened but it did not help. I guess tent was too big for this heater or it was too cold….maybe a combination of both. I must say the heater works well….

The giveaway was the multiple holes in the fender , also newer engine , wrong color , I recently sold a body off 1970 GS 455 , buckets console , factory air , new 1/4s , black urethane paint , black vinyl top and interior , in Canada in Canadian dollars for 30,000. If it was a Chevelle would have been worth 60,000 go figure ?

If you still have that 1975 455 block, you can use it to install into a 1975 Buick GS with the 231 V6 since the 455 big block was officially discontinued in 1975. Just thought I’d share this idea with you just to put that block to good use in a years matching car. I think your car’s original numbers matching engine got blown up from getting driven hard

More vids when? I just bought myself a 455 GS Clone (Originally 350 but restored as a 455 with the same specs as a real GS 455). Interested in watching your series go! I'm probably gonna start a V-Log of my Buick, since it's not that common in Germany to own this.

Your car is a real GS455. You can tell by the vin. The 5th digit is a "U" meaning it is a "GS455. the 7th digit is a "Z" meaning it was built in Freemont, California. If it was a Stage1 car the 5th digit would be a "V". 1972 was the only year you could tell a GS455 from a Stage1 by the vin. I just wanted to let you know. Not sure if you knew this or not. By the way I had a 1972 Stage1 car back in 1980. It was an Turbo 400 auto with bucket seats and a console. Seamist Green with black interior, no vinyl top. I bought it from the original owner for $800. He was getting divorced and was giving away most of his stuff for cheap. He worked at a machine shop and did a lot of work on the engine. It was faster than a 1970 Stage1. It would run 11's in the 1/4 mile. I wish I would have kept it.

The SG code on a buildsheet is correct for a '72 GS 455. My '72 Stage 1 has SR in box 26 of the build sheet. This code was on the paper sticker that was placed on the front face of the driver side valve cover so the assembly line worker can quickly identify the engine and match it to the car. It is not to be confused with the 2-letter code that is stamped onto the deck of the block. My build sheets from Fremont also have handwritten digits in the upper right corner.
