No problem with the story. its sweet. Might want to let Naofumi learn more life style magic like the original......like cooking..etc feeding his gem..medicine making...reading etc..using other magic types..elements like bullets to teach his crew control and possible magic mixes like alchemy..science and just for something to do on long journeys. It can be mixed in the story or put in a sequel...weaponising repair..clean and cooking magic etc would be fun ..yes!!!
