I have a sporty that rolls past 7400 but the valves start to float at 8200 and she spits and sputters a little. Nitrous ready 1360cc with custom pistons and a cryo treated stroker crank, solid lifters, large cam (.650?) The power (by feel) starts pulling around 4200 and balls out till 7200. Wheel up in any gear. I thought that was normal. I don't know the hp. "on paper" I'm built to be putting 140 down before nitrous (I am doubtful) but no bottle and no need for one either..

@zapwatt I rev my 96"er past 3K regularly! My son's 88" evo bounces off the rev limiter, at 5500, all the time. You just haven't been listening ....

what isnt stock about a hayabusa if you go and buy it new? they make it that way from the factory so its stock, buells are nice bikes but they are not as fast as a busa why argue go race a busa and you will see!

well i know that harleys are cool looking and sounding but ANYONE who has ridden one knows they take allot of work to get them going fast and even then they are not up to par with crotch rockets. you will never see a harley go 300kph. and a hyabusa is faster in the 1/4 and even the 1/8th mile. lets face it harley davidson is the best 110kph bike there is but dont presume you can go out and start winning races... unless your racing against cars

i think if the supercharged harley can ever even dream of keeping up with my supercharger hayabusa, i'll consider giving some respect. harley performance and power has always been weak and lousy. reliability is another major problem with those bikes.

my 05 buell lighting will turn 7000rpm, and gets an average of 47-48mpg, my best being 52mpg - all stock except for a thrush glasspack. has run a best of 7.92@ 88mph in the 1/8

Harleys arnt designed to be speed freaks, but they are a much nicer bike then any v-maxx.

What was the hp gain?

with systems like this you can see about a 50-60% power increase on these bikes.
