That's why I like permasleeve labels instead of wrap around labels. It takes more time to line up your labels and make them look good with wrap around labels. I usually use a "template wire" with the label in the position I want it.

Progecad just introduced an equivalent to dynamic blocks in version 2025. These guys need to hire a salesman because they could take half of Autodesk's customers overnight.

This is great content! I'm an application engineer (chemistry background) working for an equipment manufacturer. Nice clear explanations are super helpful and It's great being able to pick up these kinda basics and see the thought that goes into panel building! Really helps when I need to get in a panel and work out what's going on!

I work as a commercial gas engineer working on multi occupancy buildings, mostly built in the last decade. They are, almost without exception, malfunctioning. The plant rooms are below par and the BMS isn't commissioned. It's almost impossible to get help and as you have said, there's a lot of waffle talked. Altogether, an extraordinary situation given the speed of technological sophistication of the industry over the last 20 years.

I do not use those screw because they tend to leave shavings under the trunking and DIN bar. And sometimes even leaves sharp shavins sticking out from the screw heads. But they are faster.

Just a thought. I’ve stopped being able to watch your videos because of the overwhelming and repetitive editing. I mean a zoom here or there to break the video is ok but they have become unwatchable. Just my thought

I consider myself pretty clever, and regarding Schematics, I understand the symbols etc. But when it comes to working out the relative position of each component, it goes over my head and I'm stumped. I've heard this is a pretty common thing and I know that one day, it will just "click" but can you give me some pointers, please?

Yo Chris, i keep hearing this thing you mention about 'There's such a demand on PLC/BMS' (like at 14:50-15:20) not just from you, but many other friends and peers, but if there is such an astounding demand how come there are no job openings? Have you any idea where to get a foothold in the business? Cheers man, great video!
