This particular boat is for sale and they add this video to the add. I'm watching thinking this is a REALLY clean boat for a 2005 and then realize the video was shot 14 years ago. Really? WTF?

Just bought a 2004 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer about a month ago and drove it on the test drive before buying and was like this guy amazed at how great the two engines worked together and pushed the boat through the water. I moved up from a 1998 240 Sundancer 5.0 single engine for more cabin room but worried that the extra weight would slow the boat down and not be as responsive but that was not the case. I too was amazed at the room you have around the engines to work on the 280 compared to my 240. I been reading about the smart gauges and what I am reading they are top of the line instruments. Thanks for the Review!

The person who sold this probably had the half million dollars to buy the boat. What they didn’t absorb up front was the $50K a year to maintain. Just a guess.

I would have liked to see you walk the boat. Meaning getting into the companion way down. I didn’t get a good idea of the layout. And zoom out for the next one.

Sweet boat. I'll have to check out a Legacy for my next boat. Like the twin engine set up too. Not a big fan of single screw diesel or gas - prefer the redundancy of twins for safety, performance and maneuverability at the dock.

Dang a walkthrough would be nice. Like a look at the salon as u come down the stairs from the cockpit. Id like to know the layout below decks. But wow if u can get 30 mph from 2500 rpm that is a beautiful thing! Exceptionally quiet too, even @ 3000 rpm and pushing 40! Now thats a go fast yacht!

One of the worst videos Ive seen ! Why must people insist on doing a video from 4" away ? It's painful to watch. You are talking about the large amount of space yet showing everything from way too close ! Probably a nice boat. Another suggestion...watch it ( or attempt to...) before you post it

I know this is old but he clearly said 30 knots at WOT. That’s equal to 35 mph, which isn’t bad at all for this type of boat, especially a single.

Nice boat, terrible video. Back off the zoom ! Not one open shot of the layout...staterooms, heads, engine room shots from a foot away. Would love to see shots from a distance. Even the gauges, from an ant's eye view. I have a headache from trying to watch it.
