I never took any interest in playing this game despite the fact I loved the first two. The talking part just seemed to be 'lame' and the characters and moves seemed kind of foreign to me. The gameplay also seemed kind of strange. It just didn't click with me.

It’s disrespectful to the designers of the games to not take the time to enjoy all the design features. Also, not grabbing all the coins in each stage is disrespectful to yourself because then you are not enjoying everything the game has to offer. This whole thing, “speed running,” is very offensive and all gamers should be as upset as I am.

While yes, this Tool-Assisted Speedrun was recorded on an emulator, but the game itself behaves identical to how it does on console. Nothing about the game has been modified and there are no cheat codes in use.

@TompaA don't defend the "undefendable." On the actual Nes, he won't last 10 seconds. I'm not impressed, I played Nes at the time, and there is no way that you can actually do it. I was a pro on that game.

The problem is that the uploader who took the run from the website TASVideos, gave it an incorrect and misleading title and a terrible video description. This is a Tool Assisted Speedrun. They are made on an emulator while using tools like frame by frame gameplay and save states. The goal of a TAS is to find out how fast a game can be beaten in theory when every input press is perfected. But yes, all you see here behaves the same exact way on a NES console.

@TompaA I'm not saying it is not identical. I never said that. I'd love to see a nintendo nes and a nintendo nes controller. Not a keyboard or emulator. Don't make me wrong. The kid is good he's fast, etc... but with a Nes controller, it would be a different story. Same when on RE speedrun on PC they are able to aim the head by pausing the game and using the mouse. I'd love to see them with a dualshock on an actual console. Same story with supermario. If you want to do any sort of records, speedrun or 100% precision hit, these games need to be played on their original version. Otherwise, better leave them alone. That's why I'm not impressed. It's a waste of 5mins of my life watching these videos.
