The dam(place u called rapids) is a good spot. My father in law caught a 20 pound Flathead on a bluegill that he accidentally stepped on. I've caught nice hybrids there as well. It's a lil hard to get down there but it's worth it!

Ii always had problems with spypoint since I started with trail cameras and they only last 1-2 years tops with me. Wild game is best and tacticam is a close second. Tacticam the pictures aren’t what they should be.

I have these for several years leave em in woods on trees year round still going strong no brake yet due to rust. I even now using three around tree for a fixed saddle hunting platform. In order to make this work i recommend a thick rigid sole boot.

I think most people loose sight of the purpose of a trail camera. The need for super quality pics and vids is not important. What's important is identifying the game and the time and date stamps. I suggest buy the cheapest reliable camera you can find and buy a lot of them. That will increase your odds of finding the game you desire. High quality pics will not. I buy the wild game innovations terra extremes for less than $30 at Walmart and hang a bunch of them. They have the battery and SD card setup like this one. An easy solution if this bothers you is to hang the camera upside down. I hunt a lot of public as well as private. Camera theft is always a concern but never a great lose because I buy the cheap ones.
