Will the O2x fit on a non quattro 3.0. Maybe blank off the driveshast coupling? I'm from South Africa and my dad got the first edition B6 with the grey bumper bits. It has a 5 speed and at highway speeds the rpms sit between 3400-4000rpm. That's way too high for my liking

It's like getting an engineering undergraduate degree, hard asf, but if you survive you will be able to handle anything. How fast have you gotten at pulling the engine lol. Deciding between a 2004 s4 90k miles w/ good service but no timing chain replacement, a 2011 s5 w/ 38k miles but no service records, and a 2003 jetta vr6 108k miles w/perfect history kw coilovers, tt cam and tune, southbend clutch. All manual of course. Something about a loud car. To be financially irresponsible w the audis or settle for a shitbox looking vdub(i like them, most people dont)

@FlinkFilms I changed my timing chain, guides, tensioner, and chain sprocket. I noticed my harmonic balancer pulley had a wobble after. So i changed my harmonic balancer pulley with a new one and i still had a wobble. So i decided to replace my chain sprocket again, thinking i had a bad sprocket and still have a wobbly harmonic balancer pulley. Any thoughts on what it could be? I appreciated in advance 🙏

I ordered a 034 control arm kit a couple days back. I’m now learning about this - is it true you get vibration in the steering wheel? Specifically at high speeds? I put eBay knockoffs for all 8 control arms in late 2021 that are already visually torn even though the car sat from Jan 2023 to Sep 2024. I can’t begin to address the issues, but what was I expecting; high speed vibration, loose steering/wobbly, wobbly braking coming to a stop, and a weird noise with medium to heavy braking coming to a stop plus more vibration… I’d say it’s the rotors but I also had a Powerstop kit put in on the fronts in 2021 I don’t believe these are already bad. I feel all minor road imperfections, it is paired up with bilsteins sport shocks all around. I’m HOPING that the 034 arms will fix these issues. Now am I wrong to hope for that? Cause I’m looking for a balance between sport and comfort but I’m leaning more into comfort. Are they designed to have slight vibrations? Should I just for a different brand that doesn’t consider themselves sporty equipment manufacturers like SIDEM?- since Meyle HD appears to be out of stock in most stores. I’d like the most info on the feel and ride quality 034 normal non-adjustable control arms had to offer.

I just finished the A4 playlist and you have taught so much about the B8 motor and what I can do with it. I have a 2011 A5 B8 Quattro and I’m getting ready to build it. It’s been sitting for almost 5 years now without the hood and in the outside Midwest weather. It’s a long story on why but I would really appreciate any tips or tricks you didn’t show in your videos or advice you may have. Thank you for making these videos and can’t wait to see more of them!

How are the control arms holding up? You don’t mention in your video but did you torque them at ride height?
@Whendoyoueverthink12 күн бұрын
it’s not that hard, you just build every component of the engine, run a bigger turbo, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump, intake, exhaust, port injection, and top it off with some meth spray.. 500+ easy

As a B7 RS4 owner, I'd say the huge price jump between a regular S4 and the RS of this gen is just diabolical. I almost went with the awkward middle child B6 S4 but decided to go one step furthur. Looks like I made the right choice.

If the pinch bolt is such a PITA, and if you're replacing all of the control arms, why not just cut the control arms in half and not worry about pinch bolts?
