14:00 okay but how is the kit an improvement that won't snap the guides again?

@@idokwatcher2062 it’s 20 years newer and 160k miles younger. That seems like an improvement to me

6:17 So glad the BC's i have on my B8 put the adjustment knob on the side of the strut so you can adjust while in the car. The strut top mount has a hole into it you can wedge your fingers in and twist the knob, assuming its aligned correctly. Or if you're like me (an idiot) and didnt align the strut properly before torquing it down to the strut top, completely not be able to adjust them :(

DO NOT HEAT ALUMINUM, it will weaken it. Best way to remove the pinch bolt is using a all thread with a M10 drilled and tapped in the end, cut or snap the bolt head off, thread the all thread on the bolt, put a spacer over the all thread and a nut, then simply tighten it down, it will come out easy.

Get an RS4. Fix all the issues, do all the things, rip all the tracks with it. Plenty out there at this point that are falling apart, have no available parts for them. It's fun.

does it fit a 1.8t s-line aswell?

I have a B9 A4 which I've used a bit on autocross.. I'm considering the 034 Motorsports front control arms to add camber and 034 Motorsport rear sway bar to reduce the understeer. As the car is more than powerful and grippy enough for UK sized autocross(autosolo) and we have really rough surfaces too so certainly doesn't need to be lower or stiffer. Just need the front to bite and rear to rotate more. Suggestions? Think this is the right path?
@jkody18 күн бұрын
Not worth the hassle to make a 500hp A4. You can buy an entire S4 with around 100,000 miles for about $15,000. Pully+ tune another $1000 if you install it yourself and you're at 400+ whp (500ish crank) Just in parts, you're talking $10,000 to get a gen 1 EA to 500hp, and another $20,000 in labor/tuning if you're paying a shop to put it all together. Just get an S4 and stop wasting your money and time....and the 3.0T actually sounds good.

why would I be more than happy with 320whp on my A4, mine is still stock, well If I have enough people watching my videos, I would probably do a cool build on a B9 something you haven't seen yet on a "B9" yes B9!!!!!!!!!!! All the stuff I see like crazy builds and power are on B8s or older. I would love to see what my car can push.
