i was wondering if a garret 3076r would be too big for my b8 a4 i found one for 450$ and was wodnering how hard it would be to make it fit and what do i need to build the engine so it wont blow up.

Any reason the ECS intercooler didn't help you at all? They claim that it does have some noticeable gains since it is taller/thicker than the stock cooler. Is your statement based on when using a bigger turbo? I'm looking to get this for my B8.5, but won't ever go bigger than a k04. I can see it not being enough for a big turbo, but feel like it would be adequate for a k03/k04.
