I own my own horse and it’s definitely a huge privilege. Personally for me I pay around $2500 a month for everything excluding shows. I do the Equitation and Hunters. The reason products are so expensive is due to where they are made. All of the high end brands like Antares, Samshield, Ego7, etc create their products in European countries. The difference in quality between a pair of $70 breeches vs $300 breeches is insane. In terms of your horse, do you lesson at a barn? Is there a trainer that can help you? It sounds as though he would benefit from being in a program so he can be trained and you can gain your confidence back!

Unfortunately my horse is kept at my home, in the countryside. I do have a trainer who came out once a week for about 2 years but he never seemed to “click” with me - we constantly butt heads. 2.5k is absolutely insane, and yes i do agree SOMETIMES expensive items can be much better, however, my experience with samshield proves differently - I bought a SS for around £400 rode in it twice, got bucked off, my head didn’t hit the ground but the impact was enough for the panels to move, then i had to send it back to france to get it fixed !

@ damn I’ve never heard of that happening to a samshield! That’s so frustrating. And yeah the costs here are a lot. I don’t even ride at the top level, I’m pretty average in terms of finances in the industry lol. I would recommend trying to work with a new trainer. New perspectives and outlooks can help a lot with working with difficult horses. Or just go back to basics! A good ground work foundation is key in order to have a good relationship in the saddle.

“we want YOUR input”.. they don’t really listen to us anyways so what’s the point in wanting feedback?! the UI of the player & horse is way too small, i want to be able to look at my character like we use to be able to just with more closet space, a search bar & a sorting feature that ACTUALLY sorts your clothes for you !!

I'm sure they do to an extent but I believe that's true to a larger extent as well. There's some nuisance to anything as well. But def don't understand how they don't catch a lot of larger bugs as you've said.

100%,, unfortunately the newer team aren’t as careful as the old one. They should really test for bugs before releasing, instead of taking servers down whilst players are trying to look at the new update 😅
