Catching up with loads of content, Jo, sorry you are having a meh time. I think you definitely need to offer “events” that bring people in with a chance they become returning customers. What about “bake and takes’? Baking classes for young children? Could you host book clubs or knit and natter sessions?

Burn out is so very real and I really hear where you are coming from. I've been thru similar recently,I could not face to cook, clean, dress nicely ...do anything, except go to work, cos I have to pay the bills. Been trying to focus on eating well as i have felt a little better. Some days I will cook, others I will get already made meal...depends if I can face meal planning... I'm learning to cut myself some slack...I'm 56 and I'm not the springtime I was...go gently :) so glad I found your channel :)

I remember working the evening shift for many years 3-1130. It was absolute hell. Everyone thought it was great to be able to sleep in and have the whole day to yourself. That’s not the case at all. I spent all day anxious about it and couldn’t sleep in. By 3 I was already exhausted. Leaving for work when everyone was coming home and having a normal night was so hard. Hope you find a better option.

That sigh in the beginning speaks volumes. Set aside some time for yourself to do something you love for self care. Give yourself grace, set some boundaries if you need to. I agree with cash stuffing and some slow cooker meals. Sometimes you need to lay it all down in a family meeting. Tell them how you are feeling and ask them for support in the ways they can help. Find ways to simplify where you can. There are only 24 hours in a day. Tomorrow is a new day.When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up. It's infuriating, sad, and exhausting but that is when you realize that change is needed. Prioritize what you need to do for you and leave the rest. Housekeeping is not a priority for me because I am not the only one living in the house. Everyone pitches in. Start small, Mrs. P. Eat one healthy thing. Take a ten minute walk or find a 10 minute workout video online. I was awakened at 2:30 this morning but I forced myself to go back to sleep because I am catching a cold. Hugs to you.
@denisescally7090Ай бұрын
Oh dear a bit of self care required! How many men at home? Surely their rent and housekeeping money can cover the bills? Your contribution is the homemaking? Until you feel better. Cash stuffing and envelopes can really help with 'unexpected' bills. Slow cooker meals are great in the winter great for men, stews etc? Big hug!

Glad you are putting yourself first jo , when I used to work till 10 o’clock at night I couldn’t sleep when I went to bed and was totally worn out the next day , it is so important to make sure your well being is a priority x

I have worked full time house cleaning for 26 years, now nearly 61 and its hard work. Joints are shot. Only 6 more years to go. Not a day off sick

Joints are shot. Only 6 more years to go. Hard manual labour! This is why more people are on sickness benefits in the industrial parts of Britain,such as the North- East.

Can you ask your manager at the factory for a different job? I've done that before. I was standing all day and couldn't take it, my ankles were swollen, so they put me in quality control and I was able to sit.

She is just driving while talking, no different to chatting to someone in your car while driving. Many people are tired after working then having to drive, not illegal! Plus the sun does hit a car, this can't be helped and affects everyone driving. Yeah, so you must be a perfect example of being a human, maybe next, you can do a video and tell us all how to be 100% perfect like you. In this country now, the majority of us are TIRED, but need to work to survive in life! I'm betting your sat tight on your good pension, just criticising others due to boredom?
@user-mg3xr9tz7mАй бұрын
So you are tired from work and therefore if you do something to distract yourself its the proof you are after all not tired and exhausted? Wow let me guess you also think no one should be entitled to universal health, retirement or sick leave too. Everyone should have zero hours contracts right? Lack of basic decency and humanity is mindblowing
