I’m about to take mine fishing today I’m in Hawaii for a 1 week vaction I’m going surf fishing with it I can’t wait to go,I’m also doing some light tackle fishing with my other rod but I’m going surf fishing at Kalapakī beach (however you pronounce that) anyways I can’t wait to bring it (this is the first time I’ve fished with it since I go it) also I have a shimano FX 4000 FC with 30lb Berkley big game braid and as I said before I can’t wait to take it fishing (lemme stop yapping now)

I love my big game rod. I found it curbside in my neighborhood someone throwing it out. It was like new. It's super lightweight, has a great action, and will handle big stripers. Its a 2 piece 7 foot spinner, i put a shimano spheros 4000 on it. Casts a mile. I stripped the neoprene foam off the foregrip and butt section sanded it and wrapped it with black electric tape and it is awesome. Now my hand rests right on the lightweight tubular Eglass blank for more sensitivity. I do that with rods that have the neoprene foam handles. I like cork much better

The buck 110 hasn’t been $34 in a really long time. For $60, there’s better options out there unless you just really like the style

I have one and i really like it the clicker switch is a little stiff but other than that i like it.

Still the same price in 2024. I just picked up the 10ft heavy size 80 reel combo. Bail isn't slanted like that. I'm curious how it held up for you. I had a gift card from fathers day figured id give it a try. I'm pretty sure the reel will get replaced (ill use it until it breaks of course) I'm just hoping the rod holds up.
