You can find out for sure by opening command prompt by typing in "cmd" in the run box, and typing in "systeminfo" at the prompt and pressing enter. Under the "Systm Type:" entry, it will list either x32 or x64. You can also right click on my computer and select properties. It will also display the info under the "System type" entry. The method may differ a little bit depending on which version of Windows you are running. If you're running a mac or linux, I'll need to look up the method. Hope that helps.

@@jaleighaharris5861 Oh no...I probably should have included a warning that formatting erases everything, I normally do that but I must have forgotten for this video, apologies. I know it's going to be inconvenient but you can download them again. You can grab the Tiny Best Set Go or Done Set 2 from internet archive or visit the /Roms subreddit to download them individually. Unfortunately save files will be gone. There is a small chance you can recover very small files successfully using a file recovery program if you didn't write any data to the microSD card but usually the data will be too corrupted. Anyways that's my bad.

I don't remember since it's been a very long time but you can try pressing A or B while unarmed.

I am no audiophile so don't take my word for it but to me the sound is pretty OK. I don't have any experience with a DAC and in my opinion, I don't think it would improve the audio quality too much from the Miyoo. There was a reddit post where a person compared expensive gear with cheap earbuds and the cheap earbuds sounded better on the device. The audio must just be on the lower end quality wise. (Edit: By cheap earbuds I mean the ~$20-$30 chi-fi ones which are still pretty decent by all means.) Obviously take everything with a grain of salt. Hope that answers your question.

Menu + Select should bring up the menu and you can quit from there, is that button combination not working for you? I believe someone else had hotkeys not work and they reinstalled Drastic.

​@duckyobrien using the DrAstic "reset to default" option does this. I think that button unmaps the select+menu hotkey and the GameSwitcher hotley.

I have another problem, i cant open drastic setting and i dont know why my pen is always stuck on the upper left corner. I cant change position when the pen is already on the upper left corner. Please help

@@agung69426 This sounds like your keybinds got reset. You may need to reinstall Drastic using the Package Manager or use the Onion Tweaks App and go to Advanced -> Reset settings -> Reset everything.

Unfortunately the Miyoo Mini Plus is unreliable when it comes to Wi-Fi. Not every unit has a bad connection, but enough of them do. The only times I could get any sort of stable connection on mine was to sit right next to the router and I do mean right next to it. Other than that, trying out a hotspot on your phone might work better.

@duckyobrien If the phone's hotspot you mention is mobile internet, I've already tested it and it fails too, it seems unstable, to be able to play online I did as you said, I stayed on the WiFi side, I also tried playing GBC crystal online with core tgbdual and doublecherryGB, tgbdual worked, it's just bad because it needs the other player's save to work, doublecherryGB doesn't synchronize, other random commands appeared during the battle and bugs, only gpSP worked well but it's unstable, even so, you helped me a lot with the video, thank you!

@@KM.94 Yeah unfortunately netplay just doesn't work really well for now. I think it's because the timings needed for the information transfer rates are on the strict side so any small hiccup will throw the connection off. I've tested other devices and it just seems like the Miyoo seems to be more unreliable when it comes to WiFi. Anyways I hope you find a solution that works! The devs are always improving the emulators and custom operating systems so hopefully one day soon things will work more smoothly.

@@DjMikee No problem! Glad you got it working. Sometimes I do miss something in the video, it's usually the dispenser timings. That said the scoring in the game is legitimately broken and I don't think it's ever been fixed so a few levels will be impossible to 100% without a mod if I'm remembering correctly.

For sure dude! You don't even need to buy a protected battery. Just don't let it discharge too much once the light hits red. If you buy a protected battery without doing research, the battery could end up being a bit too big and not fit in the device. The protection circuit adds a little bit of length to the battery. Getting a protected battery is more for kids or people who can't be bothered to charge the device once the battery runs low.

@@Arda0.2 I'm not exactly sure but how did you upgrade the datafrog? Did you just copy and paste the files onto the microSD card or did you use the tadpole software. I think there was a bootloader bug and that is probably causing the black screen. Thankfully there's a fix for that. Also I think there is a bug with the device not reading battery levels correctly too which also has a fix. Edit: It's been a while since I've used tadpole so I don't remember if it wipes out your roms or not so I would probably back them up along with any save files if you can.

Actually yeah! This may be related to a similar problem with other handhelds and people may call it uneven frame pacing or pixel shimmer online. You can try this setting: mGBA core - Integer scaling: Off - Aspect Ratio: Core provided - Shaders>Interpolation>Pixellate.glslp, default settings. Or try this shader: github.com/Woohyun-Kang/Sharp-Shimmerless-Shader Some people are affected more by frame issues than others and once you see it, it makes games pretty much unplayable so hope this helps. Onion OS isn't available on the a30 as far as I know and I'm not sure if someone didn't already compile gmu for the a30 but it's entire possible to do it yourself if a toolchain is available. I will do some testing and see if the Onion version will run on the a30 and report back by Saturday.

I couldn't get it to work just by copying Gmu over to the a30. I probably need to do some more tinkering because it uses some library files and I may not have copied them over to the correct directory. Anyways for now, if you copy music files over to SD:\Roms\MEDIA, at least on Spruce OS, you can navigate to the music under Games ->Media. It'll play the song but functionality like creating/managing playlists seems limited, I can't seem to get any combo of hotkeys to bring up some kind of menu. Edit: I also don't see any toolchains available. My knowledge on compiling things is very limited so I wouldn't know how to compile gmu specifically for the a30 without a toolchain.

OK did a little bit of research and there's not a lot of information easily found on this topic. So far I've seen two ways to play RPGXP games on these handhelds: 1. Joiplay on Android devices 2. Via portmaster running the RPG XP runtime I couldn't find how much power is needed for XP emulation but from what I've seen people post, it was all upper range android handhelds like the Retroid Pocket 4, Odin 2, RG Cube, and etc using Joiplay. I did find one post where a guy was using the Anbernic 353m and Joiplay but that was for RPG Maker 2000 games. Now this doesn't mean the lower end handhelds can't play RGPXP, I just couldn't find info on it. Even with better hardware, some games aren't guaranteed to run well, like a few of the Pokemon fan games may have issues. I need more info but unfortunately I don't have any android handhelds to test things out for myself. I'd recommend trying it out on an android phone for now and seeing how well it runs before investing in a handheld because it seems like you'll need a higher end model and at that point it's getting into used Steam Deck territory.

@@oni2362 No problem! I'd check out reviews of any handhelds you were thinking of before buying anything. It seems like you'll need a beefier handheld for RPGXP games. If I had them, I'd test it out and let you know but unfortunately I only have weaker linux based budget handhelds. I couldn't find a lot of guides but Joey's Retro Handhelds has one on Joiplay if you wanted to see the setup process: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3vGlK2casmHns0 It may be outdated but it'll give you an idea of how to set it up.

You can "run" game cube games but it doesn't run well haha. I would not call it playable at all but some do run.

@@Berthology No problem! Realistically speaking PSP/Dreamcast/N64 is about as far as you'll get on the Trimui Smart Pro and not all PSP/DC/N64 games will run well.

This is only for the GBA games that support the GBA wireless adapter unfortunately. Trading for GBC requires emulating the physical link cable and that is more hit or miss on these devices.

I can tinker around later after work but Spruce OS is more like a modified stock experience so it's a bit more bare bones whereas Onion OS has a lot of custom code behind it so it's definitely more robust. I might be able to just copy the Easy RPG folder over so if it's that simple I'll definitely let you know!

@@monkeytrident Just got back from work, will start tinkering on it in a bit. As for discord, I actually don't have one and I won't be using discord at all. I can rant about it but to keep things short I use Steam as my main way of chatting with people.

@@monkeytrident Ok I got a game to launch so far. Using the latest version of Spruce (3.1.0) and it already has EasyRPG. It's just a libetro core. I copied the games into SD:\Roms\EASYRPG. Zipped files didn't launch for me, it had to be unzipped. Refreshed roms and launched the game and it worked. Not all games will launch or run perfectly I'm assuming, didn't do any thorough testing. If you press the menu button mid game, it brings up a menu with the option to exit. Selecting this will quit out to the main Onion OS menu. Hope this helps!

The game's scoring is busted basically so any one small thing can throw off your 100%. For this build though I do have specific dispenser timings listed in the description so maybe one dispenser is off by a few seconds. Also I am not joking but if one arm is supposed to rotate 90 degrees and it rotates at 180 instead, it'll use more power and potentially decrease your score.

I'm traveling at the moment so I don't have my Miyoo on me but if memory serves me correctly, you hold the menu button and press left on the d-pad and go all the way to the left, it should have cycle through the layouts with double screens. Depending on which layout you are at, you might have to hold menu and press right. If it's only cycling through two layouts, something may have gotten messed up with the hotkey bindings. I'll have to take a look at your config files. If all else fails, you may need to delete the drastic directory and recopy it over.

I haven't played Techtonica in a long time and the game has changed a lot since then but I do show the path I dug at around 3:06 for the early build of the game. It'll take me a while to make a video because I'll have to start a new save file and play through the game to see what has changed so I probably will not be able to make it fast enough. Hopefully that gives you a better idea.

Ok I thought Outrun 2 was a different game from Outrun 2006 but I show the different settings starting at 05:19. Long story short, the game doesn't run 100% and you'll definitely get frame drops no matter what. You can get it to what I would call a playable state though.

There might be some incompatibility issues with the enhanced resolution speed hacks, might have to turn that off. I had another commenter mention some games just don't work that well on the emulator and you may want to try switching to duckstation.

I'm using Vegas Pro 15 but you can use any editing software. Audacity is free and widely used for audio. Davinci Resolve has a free version that's also quite fantastic for video editing. Vegas is janky but it goes on sale often at Humble Bundle if you wait long enough and you can pick up a legitimate key for around $25. I used Vegas for a long time so that's why I'm sticking with it, it's not necessarily a good program.
