So my parents 75in hisense tv says not connected when they turn on tv first time for the day and won't work, but if they power cycle the tv it will work the rest of the day, it only says not connected first time turning on and if you go into wifi settings it won't connect until you cycle tv

If I turn "Auto switch to best resolution" on, then my Display Mode changes to 1080p. I keep it off and put 4k for the Display Mode. Does that mean that everything including SDR content is getting upscaled to 4k? Is that good?
