I recently brought the Kryptonite Doomsday. I like him better than the one with the ponytail. I like the Kryptonite that glows in the dark. The darker green shorts. I like the face. I heard some people say that Kryptonite Doomsday looks like the Predator. I guess because of the dreadlocks. The only thing that I don't like about Kryptonite Doomsday is the fact that I can't bend his head in a upward position. But that's okay. I can deal with that. But overall, I like Krypton Doomsday. I'm glad that I brought him.

Overall, i like the original, just because it's more 'classic' and doesn't glow

Your comment rings true to what I am seeing. Walmarts around me seem to only stock Gold Labels and BAFs. I have not seen regular release, CE or PP is a Walmart in some time Targets seemed to be out until the movie assortment. No year long BAF. No real opt in before the movie assortment. For the Plastic Man BAF, they got a special run of platinum filled cases making Target a must stop shop. This was probably done to win back Target and it worked (at least from an online perspective) I know it is not economical, but I started getting everything from MTS except for store based exclusives. With the coming one per case plats (and no EE wave 17 case), I feel these might be offered in the MTS collector's program

If a store is not listed on MTS for a figure that means that store did not opt in on carrying it ( Did not order any of that item). Walmart is very bad on their Distribution on Toys. Target for some reason has slowed down on their ordering from Mcfarlane. Seems like manufacturing has slowed down also very. IMO. Also it seems that sales on McFarlane figures at Walmart and Target were not good so their has cut back on ordering from McFarlane. ( A lot of his stuff hit clearance).

Agree with you on the Target theory! If hypothetically Target was offered the Crisis wave and they said no, did Walmart, GameStop, Amazon, Entertainment Earth, BBTS, etc., say no as well? I find that hard to believe since Hasbo sells a lot of figures as "fan channel" exclusives to online retailers. Be that as it may, if Mcfarlane is having sales issues and contnues to push a $39.99 price point then the quality needs to go up in order to justify the higher prices! Things like Superman and Kid-Flash face sculpts, the Psycho -Pirate not having a human face with removable face mask, and Monitor's suit colors not being completely comic accurate, do not justfy the higher price!!!

Good question. I don't think any of these retailers have done a BAF wave except for Walmart's re-colored Solomon Grundy BAF. Did historical business talks guide McFarlane to not offer these to other retailers? I know Amazon and BBTS have done the re-colored special runs which I believe were limited to 3K. If they went that route, I would think they would have to carry stock of at least 12K units. Maybe McFarlane did talk to them or knew they were not interested. Or maybe the logistics and other costs made the "juice not worth the squeeze".
