Great video! Although, everything made perfect sense, except you lost me at 8:30 (tough 3 = 3 wound tokens, +3 roll = 6+). Where does 8+ come in to knock out a unit with 3x toughness?

Cheers, this is an old video in terms of the edition however just checked and this rule still applies - Its part of the tough rule - Tough(X): This model only rolls to check wound effects once it has taken X wounds or more, and is only Knocked Out on rolls of 5+X or more (X in this scenario is 3)

Classic turn 1 custodes mistake... using peerless is usually a waste of CP, since your opponent will just stay out of line of sight. Really only worth it if they deploy mostly engaged. still... it's fun to use, and is very threatening

I think aegis every turn 100% and then 1 for the brotherhood but peerless I think you need to run the maths per turn if it's worth it and 1 million percent I shouldn't have used it turn 1 😂

@@GFNGaming I used it turn one for my first few custodes games, until I started using sisters. Quickly became less valuable, and and also made me think about how useful it was the rest of the time too!

It won´t change the outcome, cause of the poor combat of the mindwitch, but I think you cant´t guard and overwatch in the same turn. Cause guard counts as an overwatch-action. But as always: fantastic BatRep. It´s amazing to see the fun you both have playing the game and not taking it so damn serious. But you´re obviously taking the production very serious. Thanks for all the effort you put in these BatReps! Always a highlight when a new one drops!

Custodes in into the dark.. This can only end one way 😂 blatant custodes victory. Only way to ballance the banana boys is to allow them to be injured, but maybe not slowed from that Injury.

Cool game, it was nice to see these Custodes do so well! I don't think you can Overwatch twice, though - once with Guard, then another, regular Overwatch. The rules for Overwatch state it's only once per TP.

one tip - you don't have to roto your minis if you just drop a solid colored card stock behind them. pick a color that doesn't appear on the model. then you can just key the mini out. at some point, just remove the card for video or just take another shot without the card and you can get a clean, roto-free way of doing your underlays. cool vid.

Hey thanks, hmmm no real reason. I mainly play OPR with my brother and he loves fantasy so we break out the big armies for fantasy. I think we had one big game of Grimdark future on the channel but it is mainly fantasy. We've played regiments a few times but not recorded them.

There's no actual world eaters team, lore wise - closest would be khorne mark legionaries. These are all conversions for a strike force justian team using random khorne bits I had from the new zerker kit, the 8 fold and a primaris sniper guy. If you want more lore appropriate world eaters then chaos legionaries might be your bag

bomb squig doesn't actually have blast it's just an attack that hits models in engagement so doesn't get lethal 5+ into the dark.
