Superb series. The second series even more. Best Irish drama I have seen, what could top Love/Hate? This could. Though Aiden Gillian is of course older now so that might have informed the character/casting. Best thing the BBC brought in last year.

The effect Bren has changes the dynamic of the show in every scene he's in. He's such a scary, nasty bastard that the rest of the family are reduced to shadows of their usual selves whenever he's around. Introducing him now after you're used to the characters makes it even more obvious an effect. Enjoying the reactions man, cheers👍

The story goes, moran lived down the road from carey and 1 day carey was driving and jason moran flagged him down on the side of the road and asked him. Carey denies he was friends with moran to this day even though he did give a character witness for moran, mayb he made him an offer he couldnt refuse! Turns out carey wasnt the greatest of character, with having an affair with his best mate and team mates wife, this caused carey to quit the club which he was also he captain and star of the league, also glassed his girlfiend in the face and other stuff, yeah he was a real dirtbag!
