Honestly the sustain is lacking , the classic cello body and its bell projects the sound so of course the electric cello will be quiet. There’s no bell to push the sound. It sounds awful but that is cause of the electric components. Easily replaced though.

I came from violin and I'm still horrified at the thought of setting an instrument down. On. The. Ground.

Congratulations for the performance and courage to share publicly! Always focussing on our own progression, it’s very encouraging for all the baby cellists out there! Kudos everyone!

Yet there is a lot of work to be done, most particularly we need to improve our on camera town. So we are going to record early and often.

I don’t think the Yamaha book has One Summer’s Day in it. It’s not listed in the contents on Amazon. Still, this is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you!

I’m joining my schools orchestra (who are far ahead of me) in January and I am anxious af and have been trying to rush learn as much as I can. Thank you for making a calm video that still gets the point across. A much needed lesson!

I plan to change the horse hair how to Coruss Synthetic Bow hair as it's stronger and grips the strings more.

Hey there. My wife bought an NS cello years ago (think it’s 10+ years old). The model is the NXT. I think it might be passive. Can you tell me a bit about the IR you use? I’m assuming it’s a custom IR that you loaded to the MOOER? Would you say that that is the biggest influence in getting it to sound more natural and less “piezo”?
@CelloCoach7 күн бұрын
The IR is from 3 sigma

Those are not stickers. The ns design electric cello has built in dots like on a guitar.
