It's hard to see in the pic, but did you caulk it first? It looks like you might have caulked all 4 sides. You're not supposed to caulk the bottom, only caulk the side and top. You leave the bottom open and you don't screw/nail in the bottom. That is so if any water gets in, it can drain out.

I wrap mine like you, but my leads end up on the front. I use a Velcro strap to hold the leads from unwrapping

Guessing most of the people on here talking shit don’t work with hard hats which make a jacket hood completely worthless.. However a hoodie IS real comfortable and warm to wear under the hard hat. Good vid!

2 hoods and a ballcap is perfect for the cold. Ballcap keeps snow/rain off my face, an inner hood for warmth, and an outer hood to stay dry. Plus, personally, beanies make me too hot in anything over like -10. The LAST thing I want while working in the cold is to start sweating through my inner layers.

Facts. Southeast and South West US though, it's a brilliant tip. When it's just hovering around freezing Temps, but not quite cold enough to snow, this works perfectly

Did you even listen to what he said? He said its better to buy one with no hood because if youre in snow or heavy wind you probably have another hoodie underneath that already has its own hood, so you wont have two hoods. And also you can then walk around in warmer climate with your work jacket with no hood at all

His whole point is that its better with no hood because if youre in snow or heavy rain you probably have another hoodie underneath that already comes with a hood, and in warmer climate you take that off and wear your work jacket with no hood
