Here some hints for you based on the dialogues, Rissa: 1. Kraft knows where Heaven is 2. Kraft doesnt know Frieren 3. Kraft was asking who is frieren before being together with the party of heroes. 4. Stark said that Kraft has really good body and He thinks Kraft is increadibly strong 5. If we compare the posture between frieren and Kraft. I think we could say that Kraft could be an adult elf. which is he may live longer than frieren (back to number 3) These are important informations, I wish you remember

Jogo is one of my favorite characters. I love how the author uses him to illustrate the conflict between the sorcerers and cursed spirits, especially with the dialogue about Mahito. Jogo believes curses are the "true humans", but it's very interesting to compare him to Mahito, the literal "human" curse (made from hatred humans have for other humans, personal hatred). In episode 15, Jogo's attack on the sorcerer's is ruthless and quick. His parting words to Dagon and that scene remind me of Nanami's monologue and attack on ponytail guy in episode 12. Both don't let frustration consume them, they simply confront their enemies. There are interesting parallels between Jogo and Kusakabe, I don't think it's a coincidence their scenes are in the same episode. It's easy to mistake Kusakabe's logic for cowardice or selfishness. We know he'd lose easily against Fake Geto, Jogo, or Sukuna. He knows he'd lose easily too, it makes sense to avoid going underground. In contrast, it's easy to mistake Jogo's actions for stupidity, but i would argue they're actually quite selfless. Jogo stated in episode 10, it's likely that Sukuna is more dangerous to the curses than the sorcerers. But as long as Sukuna is revived, the age of curses will come and Jogo's goals will be met. Jogo believes putting his life on the line is a small price to pay, if it can give even the tiniest chance of reprieve from extermination to his fellow curses. Aware of his own cold logic, Kusakabe says that Panda has more of a human heart than he does, because Panda would fight despite the mortal danger for even the slimmest chance of victory, mirroring how Jogo is doing just that. There's a lot more I could say. The dichotomy between curses and sorcerers, and how the values of their lives are measured, is something I find really interesting about JJK. I enjoyed the reaction, I'm looking forward to the next one.

This movie was Phil Hartman's (the voice of Jiji) final movie and the movie was dedicated to him as he was unfortunatley killed by his own wife who was mentally ill (reportaily she commited suicide right after being guilty of killing her husband). He was known for voicing Lionel Hutz and Troy MeClure on The Simpsons, The Hanging Lamp (imporsonating Peter Lorre) and The Air Conditioner (impersonating Jack icholson) and co-wrote the script for Pee-Wees Big Adventure and helped Paul Reubens devolpe his character Pee-wee Herman.

It's *Eternal Love*, why would death be the end of it? They are going to Heaven after all. Also, while the gesture is clear to us (and yeah I really doubt one could object to Himmel being in love with Frieren at this point), the same gestures and traditions re: marriage and proposals might not apply in an entirely different world; after all, those vary from place to place and time even in our own world. If it is the same in this fictional world though, it seems that Frieren did miss it originally, but as she was pouring over the memory in this episode, the newly gained context (the symbolism) might have changed how she regarded that moment.

In the japanese original, Lisa spells out "BAKA" which is translated into "idiot" in english, though it's a big insult in Japan, much more than calling someone an idiot or moron in the west. In the swedish dub, the signal is "åsna" which means donkey or jackass.

7:41 so a bit of cultural significance, candy in this instance isn't really like a "get in this suspicious van we have candy" thing, but more of a "we're flaunting how luxurious this place is, we have candy" thing, because hard candy was uncommon back then in Japan, in fact sugar in general wasn't something you'd find a lot of. Idk if you've ever tried traditional Japanese sweets, or at least heard this about them but they aren't really sweet in comparison to most desserts we'd be used to in modern times, and that's because of the lack of sugar.

See I dislike Toji but I like his story better than Gojo's. He's a piece of shit and I'll never be one of those Toji fans/apologists but I do think he's the more compelling character among the two, Gojo is just too bland for my liking but I understand that tastes differ. What I don't understand is people who hate Toji for killing Riko but don't say anything against the school who was about to make it so that Riko lost all of her agency and humanity, if you're gonna hate a character at least have consistency in your reasons. That's why I hate both Toji and Jujutsu society in general.

This was the episode where if anyone watching has any doubts about how Himmel felt, they were gone by the end. At Anime Expo this past July, there was a panel for Frieren where the panelists were Series Producer Yuuichirou Fukushi, Series Director Keiichirou Saitou (who is a precious cinnamon roll and utterly flabbergasted by the reaction to his work), a creature designer whose name I forget, and voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto, the VA for Himmel. One of the questions given the panel was what scene was their favorite of the first season... ...and you have three guesses what Mr. Okamoto's answer was, and the first two don't count. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

There is a huge misconceptions in fandom about many things. Sukuna being a kind of curses and a king of poisons is one of them. Sukuna himself is a poison because he is a cursed object(Yuji being immune to poisons has nothing to do with Sukuna. He is naturally like that). Sukuna powers have absolutely nothing to do with poisons. And he is the king of curse meaning a king of jujutsu. Not a king of cursed spirits.

Hands down, Hayao's sweetest and cutest film, he has 3 films that are the very definition of "chicken soup for the soul", this, Totoro and Kiki's. While I love all 3, this is by far the most adorable of the bunch, which is really saying something, considering the competition, it's hard to beat how cute and precious Mei and the Totoro's are in My Neighbor. Oh, and FYI, you can just go ahead and plan on all of Hayao's films being phenomenal, even if you're not sold by the synopsis, cover etcetera, watch them all, the only thing achieved by waiting, is you'll just be kicking yourself that much more, for not having watched them all sooner! lol

Most of the guesses about the mom's illness, are that it's Tuberculosis, which would fit with the 1920's / 30's esthetics in the film. Also, Hayao and his brothers saw their mother go through long treatment for Spinal TB when he was a child, she was treated over 9 years, including multiple stays at the hospital, so many see this portion as probably being at least, partially, autobiographical. Given his personal history, I think it's safe to assume TB; the only other major illness that I can think of, that fits the approximate era of the film, is Polio.

I think Himmel made the gesture of putting the ring on Frieren as a declaration of eternal love, even though he knew Frieren wouldn't understand it back then, even though he knew their relationship could never work. In chapter 1 we can see that he lived alone at the end of his days. I believe that he never sought another romantic partner, because Himmel was the kind of hero fully committed to his own ideals. He made his declaration of eternal love and lived according to it until the end of his days. As for Frieren, I think she doesn't understand feelings quite well, neither those of others, nor her own ones. One of the consecuences of this journey for Frieren is understanding what it meant the time she spent with Himmel and the others. I think she also, in her own way, loved Himmel and on this journey she is understanding it.

The conversation in the heiter and Frieren flashback of this episode is the direct opposite of the one in the flashback of episode 11. Back then Heiter was praising her for achieving something as monumental as completely concealing her mana, and in this episode she’s praising a much older Heiter for being a good adult. They took turns healing each other throughout the years 🥹

Yay Rissa kitties! Letsgoooo 20:45 clues to Himmel's outlook were from Episode 7 Long Lived Friends. The dwarf who married a human gave Himmel a clue as to what could happen if he openly confessed to Frieren. He chose to spare her that pain and simply love her from afar. The story's swingset narrative ensures that Frieren would eventually come to understand that Himmel loved her and her memories of him were the way that she would eventually experience that love. As another analysis said, this was a love that transcended time due to Frieren's immortal nature.

You could see it on Himmel's face, when Voll's story of losing his human wife and his mourning trapping him into protecting the village for the rest of his life, made Himmel realize he loved Frieren too much to do the same thing to her. It's one of the few times Himmel didn't have a smile and is one of the saddest moments in the anime for me.

I learn from one commentary that the aircraft that overtakes Kiki at the beginning of the film is a 'Handley Page H.P. 42/45', all of which were lost in WWII by 1940. Kiki has a transistor radio, so the film takes place after 1960. This means that this world is somewhere in Europe where the Second World War did not take place. This movie's worldview is that if the Second World War had not happened, maybe there would have been a little bit of magic left in this world. Kiki's loss of magic is not solely her own fault. Hayao Miyazaki's films have a consistent theme that humans have benefited greatly from technological progress, but have also lost a lot. Of course, this is not about whether that is good or bad. Hayao Miyazaki himself loves aircraft and weapons and is a very knowledgeable person.

I have a lot of questions for Anakin about the battle over Ryloth. Why didn't he cover Ahsoka's fighters with fire? Why did he only release one squadron (Ahsoka). I don’t believe that there was only one squadron on three aircraft carriers. Why didn't he give her any plan and just sent her ahead? Why did he give her light fighters which can’t do anything to heavy ships at all, and not Y-wings, for example, if you were going to break the blockade with their help? In general, fighters have a task another: Hang out nearby and cover the cruisers from little things. But Ani should have explained this to Ahsoka HIMSELF BEFORE the fight. And again, how was he going to break through then, the Venators all they didn’t even shoot at the stern like anti-aircraft guns? Or if he wanted to use Ahsoka's fighters to lure out Separatist reinforcements, then why didn't he start shooting at their flank when they appeared? Why didn’t he give the other cruisers the order to raise their air groups BEFORE the battle, because he, as an experienced naval commander, knows that it takes a long time to raise the Venator air group, and everyone who has to fly out flies out in advance and defends their carriers. Well, okay, I was dumbfounded, why didn’t I give the order to fire fragmentation missiles at a cluster of fighters? The missiles and torpedoes on the Republican ships were just for such cases. Or why didn’t he give orders to the anti-aircraft gunners of other cruisers? Venitor has anti-aircraft guns like a mongrel with fleas, not one of these vultures It wouldn’t even have gotten there, much less they wouldn’t have been able to overheat the shields. Why didn’t Ani transfer power from the engines to the shields when he realized that they were sagging, because that would have given time? Didn’t he rebuild the cruiser, didn’t he take the flagship out of line? In short, Eni behaved like a complete loser during the first attack. All the blame for the lose lies with him! Well, a lot, a lot. But no, let's blame a 16-year-old child for the first time at the helm. Wait, was it just me or was Eni also trying to shoot at the vultures with turbolasers rather than anti-aircraft guns?! Genius, well, just the Thrawn of his time!
