This is absotively meow fave noise metal album! Saw them play an EV club actually like em more than Swans! They pureed meow cochlea's real goo-goo fur meow! "Door! Let me outta here...I'm begging!" Also read the book they named the band after. They can rearrange meow synapses any thyme!

Intriguing how others respond to these works. Back in the late 1960s I listened to what was then available of AH's works...wasn't much. At first i thought, "Oh well more Mysterious Mountain". Kept going back, found the works to be ever more fascinating iterations of that piece, as well as iterations of the Great Whales creations. The St. Vartan and other spiritual works. Everything he created feeds into multiple bodies of his work in a way 18TH/19th composers had not discovered yet!

Good to read your thoughts... there's an enormous amount of variety in Hovhaness's 434+ works I've managed to hear 250 or so of them 1964-2021 many of them numerous times I used to be ridiculed by my avant-garde friends it took many of them a lot of time to adjust to Steve Reich they don't know what they're missing !

Same, this was a great album. Ikon is my fave High Rise tune, and the feedback on the guitar from around 8:39 to like 8:58 is simultaneously the dirtiest and most beautiful sound. And the way he bends that distortion straight back into tearing through the main riff...beautiful *wipes tear*

To je v hajzlu, Lukáši - máš skvělej hlas na delší audio poslouchání (se všema logopedickejma specifikama :)) a zatraceně dobře to vyniklo tady, ale i ve tvejch dřívějších "Games TV" a sere mě, že to nemá větší dosah do lidí a tim pádem i větší smysl pro investici tvýho času. Co s tim? Jak by řekli The Residents, kdyby to někdy řekli - TO NETUŠIM...
