I took my daughter for the same thing… we left with a Major Depressive Disorder and a neurological disorder that makes her body think she hasn’t slept. Ultimately they treat that with adhd meds too 😂

Yup. It took me a long time to realize I didn’t develop BPD simply because I was sensitive and had no self esteem, it was what I had to do to cope with my mother. I really wish there was a way to legally force parents to compensate their kids mental pain (without court). I’ve lost relationships, homes, and jobs from BPD, I’m covered in scars from myself trying to save my life. I’m 22 now, realizing the reason why I’m not getting better is because my partner of 5 years might also be a narcissist (they were misdiagnosed as autistic, then later as ASPD). I hate that I was a smart kid with good grades, who was loved by my teachers and had plenty of opportunities to have a good life, but my mother had to ruin my life more and more for every little mistake I made growing up. And now suddenly, I’m a barely functioning adult who struggles finding meaning in life and myself. I hope one day I’ll be strong enough to get myself somewhere stable. Stability is the only way to enter remission for BPD before your 40s. It’s hard when you have lost everything you’ve ever earned and things are more expensive than ever. Choose yourself, choose safety, you’ll be okay. I hope it not trauma dumping, just wanted to share my experience.

Adhd, anxiety,bpd are all usually false diagnoses. How is your sleep schedule, do you get sunlight, do you exercise, eat healthy, social life?

@nicolexomay-1 personal experience. Was in the system by 5yrs old. Sweat test, sleep test, special classes e.h. and sld, clonidine ritalin adderall therapist psychiatrist all of it. Found out years later its type 1 diabetes and high A1c can cause bipolar like mood swings, confusion, and inattentiveness. Make sure your doctors and psychiatrists actually put time into your case and make them do there job. Good luck to you and you can do it you got this.

I'm super sorry, I understand this can be tough! I hope you get the help and therapy you need. You aren't alone and a lot of women struggle with it. I actually have bpd, cptsd, and combined adhd so I get it being kind of hard to cope with. if you would like any suggestions I'm here. Best of wishes :)

Bipolar personality disorder

BPD is borderline personality disorder, it's kind of like bipolar disorder but the jist of it is that you have highly impulsive behaviors and you feel emotions much deeper. This happens because the part of your brain that goes "Danger! Danger!" is slightly bigger. It can also be caused due to high emotional trauma. It makes it more difficult to maintain relationships due to the impulsiveness. It is also linked with attention seeking or anger outbursts. It's more common in women. It can be treated with a lot of therapy (dbt and cbt therapies). You usually have to be 18 to be diagnosed, however, if you have extreme symptoms you can be diagnosed as early as 12. That will not be a permanent diagnosis until you're 18-23 though. This is coming from someone who has done a lot of research and has been in therapy for BPD for 5 years lol

Hey Nicole I’m 13 and I was on Prozac a year ago and I had an extremely bad reaction to it it made all my anxiety and depression so much worse I gained 15 pounds on it and it caused me to have to go to the ER
