@DrRussInYourPocket fantastic because I'm in Ashland so coming on up is not too difficult. Do you happen to take OHP? I know it's a long shot but been off work 2 yrs battling cancer so im having to start over financially. How booked out are you?
@DrRussInYourPocket
@DrRussInYourPocket 12 күн бұрын
Lisa, I don't take OHP, or rather OHP will not pay for my services as I am out of network. My many attempts to navigate the paperwork to join were futile. I am sorry you are having to start over financially after your illness. It's one of the many ways our society fails to meet the challenges. In any event, I have programs in place to help folks get the care they need. Please check out happyspinepdx.com/access, and thank you!

@DrRussInYourPocket iam fine with it being filmed as I've been pretty open with having a double mastectomy and all that comes with it. I feel it's important for newly diagnosed women to understand what may happen to them. Scars and all....im still here for the luxury of TIME and that's nothing to hide!

im 33 and I start at SCU Health Sciences in January. Its never too late. Dont let anyone talk you out of it! I thought about going back to school 6 years ago and felt like 4 years of school was too long. Well 6 years later, i look in the mirror and realized I could have been in business the past 2 years if I just DID IT! Time moves fast. In my 40's I would much rather create my own ceiling financially VS. working in corporate america where youre 1 budget cut from losing your job. Hopefully this helps someone out

While I appreciate the focus on helping pregnant women with discomfort, it’s essential that treatments like myofascial work are supported by solid, peer-reviewed evidence. Chronic pain, particularly in pregnancy, is a serious issue that demands proven medical solutions. While anecdotal success stories can be compelling, they should not replace scientific validation. There’s a reason why evidence-based medicine is the standard in healthcare-to ensure treatments are safe and effective across the board, not just for a few individuals. It would be more reassuring to see these practices grounded in more rigorous research.

I kept being told that sharp stabbing pains in my neck was normal and i was like no i think i have hashimoto's and they said i doubt that hashimotos doesnt cause pain even though there is a painful varient so they said well we'll send the labs but i doubt it and i was right about it being my thyroid. my tpo levels were very high i have an endo appointment sion to get more answers i had an ultrasound on my thyroid and it was swollen/inflamed

I am glad you finally got clarity. Sometimes unfortunately we have to be persistent and insist on proper care from our doctors. There are still so many doctors who do not properly assess the thyroid--they see normal TSH and they say "everything's fine". Well, there's a lot more to it than that. I hope you feel much better very soon. Thank you for sharing!

It's for the patient's safety. If there are abnormal sounds from an artery, it needs to be investigates as it might be a clot or aneurysm, and these would make adjustments unsafe. Thank you for asking!

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. I've been in Portland for 27 years and I love this city. It's beautiful, friendly, vibrant, and safe. What you might hear or read about our unique city in the media does not paint an accurate picture of life here. However, Portland has always been that beautiful mix of gritty and precious, and Portland never hides its problems behind closed doors. It's all out in the open here, in every way. So give us a little bit of a break and the benefit of the doubt. And thanks for watching, engaging, and for the compliments on my skills. From a person who proudly chose Portland as my home.

I recently discovered your videos and love them! You are so thorough with your treatments, yet gentle. I am looking for a chiropractor near me and would love to find someone with your level of expertise and a similar technique--is there a certain term for your style of adjusting and treatments that I should ask for when I'm looking for someone? Just watching your videos is so relaxing and educational, I always learn something interesting.

This really, really helped me. Thank you. I sobbed the whole video, but it felt like a much needed release. I lost my grandma last year. She was 88 and lives a long, full life. But she raised me and was there when I was born. She was so much more than a grandma. I just can't imagine a world without her, yet here I am walking in it. Very hard.

Thank you for reaching out. I'm glad my words helped you release those tears. She was worth this grief, and those tears honor her memory and the impact she had on your life. Tears are temporary but her love and care for you will be with you forever. She's there in every little thing you do to help and support others. Take good care and I hope you find some comfort this beautiful fall evening.

Hi Dr. Russ....I sent you an email on this and kind of important as my former wife was just recently kinda diagnosed (informally) by a Kaiser doctor of having ALS. Which as you know is otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's diseases without a cure. Do you know anyone who has been misdiagnosed with ALS but it was like a cerebrospinal blockage?

And I am not being dramatic by saying I want the world to know that as of the first time I watched you work for the betterment of others....and today in reading your reply to my message, you have made a huge impact on my life....and in turn 🛞 no doubt a most beautiful and human imprint in the life of my former wife.....no less. So thank you.
