Definitely takes longer to get off the ground than the radial engine Wilga, probably down on horsepower quite a bit over the radial engine which between 360 and 400

What’s the name of this manoeuvre @ 7:00 ? (Plane flying pitch up, wings at approx 45 degree tilt, often performed close to the ground, seemingly just above stall speed - I’d imagine hard on the throttle - image used for thumbnail also). Thanks so much what an amazing video, and amazing pilot/ground crew! Thank you for sharing this.

This was the plane I learned to fly on and soloed it first. Areal aeroplane! After Zlin I flew Cessna 150. What a chock and disapontment! Like if you ride a nice, 350 cc enduro bike and then try a 50 cc scooter. I remember it's sound, smell and I can still remember how much fun it was when I soloed it, I could look at the front instrument panel and no big head and shoulders of the instructor. That was in the distant 1982.
