I am listening to this in preparation for writing a piece for Yang Qin. I found your playing very useful in how to use the instrument. 'yang qin', perhaps you think 'contemporary' means 'pop music' and I would recommend you take your lack of imagination somewhere else? There is no instrument less suited to that kind of thing than the Yang Qin and there is far more to contemporary music. Some people appreciate intellectual stimulation.

Thank you for your suggestions. However, with my major is music performance since I was 10 years old at music school, so I have to play academic pieces of Yangqin. This is academic solo concert for my professor because he care how good I am. All pieces was choose by him, this concert is not for public.It is for academic and professional groups in china,but I will do more contemporary music pieces in the future.

A good yangqin player! But I wouldn't want to watch it for the second time! Just don't like traditional yangqin piece (传统扬琴曲）。 BORING！I remember watching Richard Clayderman on youtube. I could watch the same video many times without falling asleep! I used to play the yangqin too! I have now started playing piano pieces on my yangqin which I think many people will like. No doubt about you being a good yangqin player, not many people know how to appreciate good music!

You should play more contemporary piano pieces instead of the traditional yangqin music. Not many people really know how to appreciate this kind of music. You may be good at yangqin but people are just not keen to know more about yangqin. Who cares how good you are, people just like to be entertained by lively and popular music! Correct me if I am wrong. I used to play the yangqin too!
