Questions to be ask sir: 1. How do one control the temperature in the brooder in a hot environment? 2. What are the types of disinfectant to be used in cleaning the kitchen house, before and after please? 3. What are the disinfectant for footbath or change of shoe? 4. Dear faith Wanyonyi, thank you for this comment. AT out farm we supply produce and supply day old broilers. A chick goes for 2800 Uganda shillings. Our parent stock is Hubbard breed.

If you bring day old chicks and they hv vacccinate them but u dont trust the supplier can you vacccinate them again

Thank you Isaac for this comment. Qn. If you don't trust the supplier, can you vaccinate chicks again? Answer: Even if you trust the supplier, it is advisable that you vaccinate them again on arrival at the farm. 1. In most cases, suppliers have many chicks and they usually vaccinate using a sprayer or other group vaccination methods. Chances are that some chicks may miss out getting the vaccine. It may land on the head or any other body part. Therefore end up not vaccinated. 2. Some companies may actually not vaccinate. So what do we do? Always vaccinate your chicks on arrival at the farm. Vaccinate each individually on the eye. It may be tiresome but it saves you a lot of money in treatment. Thank you once again for this comment. Dr. Dorothy.
