Its still lcd display . All you did was change the back light from fluorescent tube to led backlight . Nothing to do with the screen type .

this is bullshit .... for once you can get 27 inch monitors for not much [ i think my iiyama was les then 200 dollars ] on for two led will not light up as well as the original lights

That's some quality welds 3:12 I really don't recommend working on anything about 50V unless you know what you are doing. Even though this is safer than Lichtenberg device, 230V wall power can be lethal. While extra low voltage, high current is safe to touch, it can cause fires and serious burns from the resistive heat and splattered metal.
