Oh okay, you didn't actually follow the structure of the song, you kinda just re-arranged the chords to your liking. Wanted to use this for karaoke but it was impossible to follow along lol

So I made some kind of bad sheet music for this, and I want to rewrite it one of theses days (But I will make it better this time). If your are interested I could send you the video and you upload it on your channel, seeing as its mostly your composition.

You took all the lonely days and you made them sing You turned off the alarms so they don't ring I don't know where you are in the grand scheme of things But I just wanna be counting stars with you Life to throw everything that it could throw Your face in the morning, it just glowed Let's get in this car, let's face the sky and go I just wanna be counting stars with you Wrap it up and let's go rolling down There's no funnier duo in this town Just wanna say I'm better now and shout it loud I just wanna be hugging you tonight Don't know if you know, but I just wanna tell you so The other wisest funny one that I will ever, ever know A hundred mini dreams and a healing scar The secrets of the day are never far I don't know where we're going but God, it's a start I just wanna be counting stars with you I don't know if you know, but I just wanna tell you so The other wisest funny one that I will ever, ever know I don't know about you but, oh, I love us as a two Find me a wild road and I will name it after you You took all the lonely days and you made them sing You turned off the alarm so they don't ring I don't know where we are in the grand scheme of things But I just wanna be hugging you tonight

Hey, thank you kindly! I'm so sorry, I've never gotten a notification for your comment. Basically I felt(feel) like I live my life in a loop where I start something with full enthusiasm, run into walls, dont know how to deal with them, quit the thing, feel shit about it, find something new. After this song actually is when I 'learned' I have adhd and so it's all starting to make sense 😅 Disclaimer; Im fine. Hope you're well and thanks for the comment!

Hey man, thanks again for this it's made learning this so much easier! I'm trying to figure out what's going on in the original where Tom goes a little higher than the standard verse on "I dont think I could lead it like you led" It sounds like a rhythm change, but I'm really not sure how to replicate it, if you have any thoughts?

I’m a little confused with the “mmm mm mmm” part for some reason, what chords are those?
@pleasingpianoman744 жыл бұрын
What I did was Fm, D#, G#, C# But after I did this i realised I used different chords than both the original and acoustic version. The chord progressions are correct thought just in a different scale ^^

@pleasingpianoman745 жыл бұрын
Thank you ^^ I'll see what I can do tomorrow. If I remember it correctly though it is basically the 1st note of the chord. So for the C# its 2 low C# with ya pinky and thumb in an octave. So // correct me if im wrong this is off the top of my head // it'd be c# g# f d# for the intro, each with its corresponding chord on the right hand. But i'll give it a shot first thing tomorrow to try and do a complete version hahah

@@loveoflyrics7589 hey! Havent got much time today so I though I'd at least get you something to get started on. Disclaimer this has all just been done by ear and all but its a base hahah. The verses are something along the lines of B, E(played b e g#), F#, G#, E. When Hey Love sets in it becomes something along the lines of C#m7(i think there is a b on this chord already beacause ...) it goes into a G# F# and E. Back to B E F# G# E. Chorus again. And then for the bridge part I couldnt quite make it out but i think he starts at a B and slowely walks up and down with the chords. So a B into an E played as b e g# again, into f# into a B played d# f# b. So B E F# B E F# E. At the "do you" part i thought it was back and forth between the E and F#. I'll try to make a 'proper' sometime soon
