I am a Catholic of 13% Ashkenazi Jewish descent… I desire this to be my wedding dance song should I be so blessed to be married someday.

Out of most of the songs from this musical, "Sunrise, Sunset" is one of my favorites. I first heard it at a recital when I was younger. Next month, I'm seeing a live, professional production of "Fiddler on the Roof" on stage. And Jason Alexander from "Seinfeld" is playing Reb Tevye. I can't wait to see how they approach this song with him.

this was the song we requested to be sang for our wedding, I had to write the exact lyrics as in the movie as the singer didn't know the lyrics, 48 years ago & we're still together.

So could someone explain to me how they manipulate the neural pathways , neurotransmitters, and brain regions that are manipulated when I produce tears. Also - which are activated when there is 0 emotion compared to when there is emotion and is there a certain amount of neurotransmitters flooding the pathways when I am unnaturally angry and I KNOW that is not the me when my brain is functioning the way it does without manipulation.. it does and has had a dopamine deficiency since I was in 4th grade! … oh and autosuggest said ‘y?’ Um no, this is a currently 38 year old Homo sapien sapien organism who is named Leisl like Sound of Music and whose childhood sweetheart and good friend in high school died when they were 16 going on 17 - he pulled the trigger of the gun that killed him and damaged his face so bad there was a closed casket - when we were 16 going on 17 like Liesl’s song in The Sound of Music. My parents had this sung at their wedding my dad’s name is Michael and his birthday is on 9-11 and I was born on the Feast of St. Michael Pateron Saint of soldier’s September 29 1985 … why did the Lutheran hymnal when they say they don’t have saints have The feast of St. Michael and All ot the Angels listed in their hymnal? Any one else have a similar ‘coincidence I think knot?’thing like that … oh also my best friend whose middle name is Gabriella was born the same year as I - 1985- and her birthday is 11-9… I don’t know of this is significant but she was raped at knife point on August 28 2008.

This song came out decades before anything written by or for Michael Jackson. So his song sounds like this one.

I don't think what she's saying is "wrong" as such, a lot of couples fall in love and stay in love without rhyme or reason or being particularly compatible characters and would do anything for each other. In Julie and Bily's case it went tragically wrong, of course.

What’s the use of wond’rin’ If he’s good or if he’s bad, Or if you like the way he wears his hat? Oh, what’s the use of wond’rin’ If he’s good or if he’s bad? He’s your feller and you love him- That’s all there is to that. Common sense may tell you That the endin’ will be sad And now’s the time to break and run away. But what’s the use of wond’rin’ If the endin’ will be sad? He’s your feller and you love him- There’s nothin’ more to say. Somethin’ made him the way that he is, Whether he’s false or true. And somethin’ gave him the things that are his- One of those things is you. So, when he wants your kisses You will give them to the lad, And anywhere he leads you, you will walk. And anytime he needs you, You’ll go runnin’ there like mad. You’re his girl and he’s your feller- And all the rest is talk.

This reminds me of my Parents wedding because I remember seeing pictures that my Mom and my Dad showed me how they first met and got married and taught me about my Jewish heritage for my family history. Because it is important to care and love about our families and love each other

I dont remember growing older... yet my daughter lived her whole life in less than my lifespan... Sunrise sunset 🎶 😭 I return to listen again from time to time.
