Amazing Maurício. I really think of testing as part of the solution that I'm developing. It's hard, sort of, thinking in coding without testing. One of the best ways to rest with some peace is always. No matter your methodology whether its TDD or not is always better to have a test suit. congratulations

"On IPFS, each node hosts a set of files and makes it available to anyone. Each file is referenced by a specific hash, called CID (Content IDentifier). To retrieve content, hosted by at least one active node in the network. Starton Storage offers to host your content on -------> our nodes <------- to ensure their availability at all-time without maintenance needs." lol how's that not centralization.
@ulik359 Жыл бұрын
IPFS is distributed Peer to Peer protocol, think of it as a similar protocol like Torrent. When you are using Starton IPFS service , your files are uploading on our own Nodes but then share with the rest of the network.... The difference with Centralization vs Decentralization, means that even if Starton disappear tomorrow your files can still be available. So it's not centralize. ;-),
@vfs-- Жыл бұрын
If your company disappear tomorrow your files will not necessary be available as this factor does highly depends on how many nodes are going to propagate your files. If half the nodes are getting hosted on a service similar to AWS/google ect.. the network is getting susceptible to a shutdown, and who decide of that shutdown ? the hosting services + the company running the nodes. By running that kind of company you are centralizing the network into the hands of few, this kind of work defeats the purposes of decentralization (IPFS). Your argument of propagating the files to the rest of the network, also called "pinning files", is not valid, as your service needs to comply with the local laws, as any third party pinning service, so you can actually play a role in the unpinning of the files and prevent other nodes from fetching them from your nodes, and you know how it's called ? censorship :D
@ulik359 Жыл бұрын
@@vfs-- If our company disappear tomorrow you are free to host your files on another pinning service / filecoin / your own node. If we want to increase the number of developper who build on decentralized technologie, we need to simplify it. If each developper need to run and scale their own nodes, they will chose the simplicity and stay on web2: AWS S3. By offering pinning services, we enable developper to start building on IPFS and focus on their business, and later if they want to be completely decentralised they can decide to run their own node. Or they can use a combinaison of pinning service / own node / filecoin to decentralize it even further

the more your company grows, the more it is a threat to the network lol. weird way of simplifying things.

Wow thank you for sharing your inspirational story! I'm literally in Hajar's shoes right now when she was trying to be a developer. I'm also trying to be a successful developer, with all the horrible ups and downs and feeling clueless sometimes... I'm not there yet not at all, but I'm not giving up! This motivated me a lot!

Ziet er super leuk uit! Ik ben nu 16 en doe havo. Ik programmeer heel veel (waarschijnlijk te) en denk dat dit erg goed voor mij gaat werken, wel ben ik niet goed in Engels. Is dat belangrijk?
@KimmehNL4 жыл бұрын
Hey Teun!

You will get 2 tests and the first one is where you need to follow and remember the order of the squares that light up. With the 2nd test you need to guide the Arrow looking icon to the end of the color road. You get a list of commands and colors but you can only adjust 2 colors and 2 commands while the color road is 6 colors long.

Im glad now because this whole thing feels like a retarded scam.
