I thought it originated from Japan? Hence the word 'Bonsai'.
@MaTiSte.19 күн бұрын
The art of bonsai originated in China over 2,000 years ago, where it was called "penjing." Initially, these were offerings to emperors-miniature landscapes symbolizing their domains. Later, in the 6th century, Japanese monks brought this practice to Japan, where it evolved into the bonsai art we know today.

It looks like one of Ryan Neil's trees of Bonsai Mirai. It was not grown as bonsai from seed it was collected from the wild.

This is totally shameful misinformation! None of these Bonsai, pronounced “Bone Sigh”, just for starters, can be grown indoors without an elaborate conservatory and intensive special care. I must say, Beautiful, probably AI produced, video visuals, ignorant audio voiceover content…

You are mispronouncing bonsai. It is pronounced "bone sigh." Also, the only true indoor bonsai are those that are considered tropical. These would include plants such as the many ficus varieties. To support an indoor bonsai, one needs a very good source of winter sun. Mine do quite well in a south-facing window. I would question trying to keep a pomegranate, cherry, beech, or azalea inside the home. Some people have luck with Chinese elm, but I think most growers would advise against it. I don't know about olive or jasmine.

Great AI bonsai, but please don't make these videos as if they are informative. These are species for outdoors.

Don’t know where you got your information. But the money tree is the only one you listed that will survive indoors for more than a week or two

"BONE"...."SIGH"....BONSAI...Means "tree in a tray"...one should at least pronounce it correctly! Dr. RM Kaufman/NW Oregon/USA/my "mentor": Dr. Hiroshi Ueno-in '64 - '66 [Japanese "National Treasure" in BONSAI]...he was also a "drinking buddy"!
