How about adding a banana to the base mix? (The logic being it is slightly sweet)

Great dish! What size is your SQ Professional stock pot? They list a large one at 44cm on their site. Thank you in advance! Ah!...never mind! I see you had it listed! Thank you!

Al this is a superb curry done it this afternoon and reheated it for evening dinner it’s so so nice I done exactly half ingredients a Sony 2 of us but I tell you mate it’s enough for 3 so the full one must do 6. The flavours are above any take out or restaurant well done I think this is about 6 of your curries so far all top. Cheers Al keep going ❤❤

Every base gravy adds miscellaneous (hard to get) items, you did it with both your base gravies with a slab of coconut and another item which I'd never heard of before, if you live in the deepest darkest streets of London up maybe you can get all those exotic items, up in the Shires I can't get my local Tesco superstore to stock chilli's, if I was a young entrepreneur I would seriously think about building a recipe and offering all the ingredients you would need to create said recipe all you'd have to do was buy the meat and cook it, can I ask do you freeze and label the left over base gravy?

Al, we're used to cooking our basmati rice in a cooker and get perfect results every time. Can this recipe be adapted to using a rice cooker, possibly by cutting back a little on the spices that go into the boiling water, maybe using a little less water so the rice is firmer?

Mr Naga is strong stuff I would only use maybe half a tsp and try that and maybe add a little more if It needed it

The reason they use aluminium pans is cos they are cheap - they wont buy a healthier option like Stainless steel cos their expensive - i've enough heavy metals in my body without adding more

Hi Al, Love the look of this curry, sadly a lot of curry houses have moved away from the curry we've grown up with and are now a heavy gloppy effort and so many choices seem to taste the same... so we are making our own and are following step by step what you are creating. This is the one we are making next.... Keep up the good work. also notice Biriani's are not being served with a small veg curry anymore but blitzed veg baby food. Yuk!
