I have an M1 chip MacBook Pro so boot camp doesn't work, I tried Parallels but you can't use the mobile hotspot since it's not available on Parallels vm. Is there any other way?

Using the app Connectify it's possible to do a wired connection from your laptop to Xbox but keep in mind it's a paid app.

No need to connect them together with USB so long as you do a wireless hotspot from your laptop :-)

tried doing this on my xbox 360, and when it tests my xbox live connection, the network connects, internet connects but xbox live doesn’t. Any way to fix this?

This works great, for whatever reason my ps4 or my tv doesn't want to connect to my router , yet my laptop has no problem connecting. Using this method I was able to bypass all the bull💩. Easy and to the point, thanks.

yes! there is a way that involves changing your MAC address so you won't need it everytime. but for me and most the people that watched this video they probably tried that and didn't work!

I need ur help mate. I cant connect my xbox to the dormitory ethernet. I need ethernet cuz its fast and needed for gaming. Do u know hot to connect to it if u can alternate the advanced settings on it? Using hotspot on laptop is slower than connecting xbox directly to ethernet but it wont work

hey g. you don't need ethernet for gaming even with the wifi hotspot it's still pretty fast. you could always plug ethernet into your computer and then route the connection through Connectify. 🔌

@@dips580 yea mate i do that. But still when playing fortnite the ping is kinda high and never constant. Ig if i need better ping ill hv to get a separate router and get ethernet on it😂. But thats too much work. I will probably never do that. Haha. Thanks for the help man.
