Truman fired MacArthur because Truman was an insecure big ego coward who first of all illegally ordered MacArthur to invade North Korea without UN or Congressional authorization and then completely set up MacArthur to fail at the Yalu when Truman was the one responsible for intelligence from China and the USSR but provided terrible intelligence to MacArthur, most infamously the CIA intel report on Thanksgiving Day telling MacArthur that the Chinese will not get involved in the Korean War. Thankfully MacArthur was able to save South Korea not only once but twice. He saved them from the North Korean invasion at Inchon and later saved them from the Chinese invasion in 1951 when he handpicked Ridgway to be the new 8th Army general. But we aren't supposed to talk about this and are only supposed to "believe" Truman's version of events. Truman himself was fired by the American people due to firing MacArthur less than a year later when he lost the New Hampshire primary and dropped out of the 1952 election shortly afterwards. MacArthur got his revenge.

South Shore,KY is my hometown. I have good memories growing up there. Things have changed but your rotten attitude towards our hometown hasn't. So glad you left the area they don't need your negativity. There are still good people living there.

@@BrianHorsley-i3s Well my memories which I mentioned was as good as yours obviously but I was honest about them. It’s your opinion that my attitude was rotten, truth about things hurt I understand that. I was very mild on my content and again you thinking I’m negative is your opinion, yes everyone has one. Your nasty comments were expected I expect nothing less from people who can’t accept the truth. Nothing has changed there. Your comments prove that. I did say there were good people living there still. That’s about all that’s left. When I get depressed I remind myself there are people actually still living there.

Hey Scott, Yoder sounds familiar, not that it matters, but there is a You Tuber that i'm subscribed to, her name is Lynette Yoder, she is Amish and she lives in Florida, not sure if she is related? I'm only guessing. I remember Chris's character Jeb vaguely, but seeing him on your channel means that i'm going to have to do some searching to see his work.

I would like to see more of John Schneider and Sonny Shroyer, however i don't have access to their fb accounts and they don't know me so they're not going to automatically hit the " accept friend" button besides Sonny hasn't been active on his fb page since 2 013 so i don't know, however i do completely understand that they are busy people. Hey Scott, I always enjoy watching you, Mike, Hope, and Sonny joke around and have a good time with each other as well as with other certain DOH cast members, oh, to be a fly on the wall, to be able to listen in on stories, jokes and laughter, how awesome would that be for any DOH fan to be part of. I was going to ask you Scott about an episode i can't find and since Sonny calls you a walking encyclopedia of Dukes Of Hazzard, lol, i thought i would ask you this: What is the episode called where Enos ends up passed out in the car crusher and Daisy pulls him out and saves him in time? The cast member that was rude didn't need to be that way and not to make excuses for them, but maybe they were just having a bad day, however that was just ridiculous. I would really think long and hard on my decision to go back, but to each is own. Have A Great Week Scott! 🙂🖐 BTW, I am in the retail business and out of maybe one of 50 people that you serve, there is always an a** hole that tries to spoil your day, but it's all in how you handle them by not stooping to their level, but if that's impossible, then handle it how you need to because there are some individuals you just can't help.

Appreciate the video. I have lots of family in the area. I grew up in Dayton OH but my mother's family was from Greenup. We used to cross the Portsmouth bridge over to KY, past South Shore and followed US-23 before it became a 4-lane highway. Used to walk downtown. Also spent time at the Greenup Co Fair next to the old high school. Lots of memories. It's been many years since I've been in the downtown area. Glad to see it hasn't changed all that much. Again, thanks for memories.
