The only music I could think of that would be less appropriate for this video would literally have to come from a porn flick.

I was a Young Games Maker, part of a team of 10 in total, 2 adult leaders and 8 juniors. I dropped in just after the test event as one member was just too young to be eligible, best decision of my life! In total we raised over £8000 for the hotel, meals and travel expenses for the whole team and it was by far worth it! We were at Lords carrying the arrows from the targets to the archers! As a keen archer I found it inspiring and so Im aiming for a future Olympics!

I was a Gamesmaker at Wimbledon and after being at the Opening Ceremony, started my shift with 2 hours sleep! The atmosphere was so exciting and friendly ( especially the army welcoming us in) It was a priviledge to have been involved in such an iconic venue and to see the delight in watching people see Centre Court for the first time! It was a very emotional and fun experience and of one that will remain with me forever. So thanks LOCOG for giving me the chance to be involved and we did it!!

"This is about the class system in this country and the selfish state we have become". Sorry, this is not about some twerp (you) wanting to argue the toss about class. This is about thanking a fantastic group of people who help put the Great back into Britain. So take that chip and your shoulder with it and bog off somewhere else.

Bully. Can't argue a topic so cast slurs like "Troll". This is about the class system in this country and the selfish state we have become. The power of government to control and distort is what I'm talking about and its more pertintent today as we remember the Hillsborough dead and come to terms with what Thatcher did to their kin. But thats not for you is it, carry on the love in with your employment stealing brethren... wheres the Pimms?

My husband was a Games Maker. He is retired on a pension. He paid out for the fares to the trainings and he put in many hours preparing for and during the Paralympic games. We spent the longest time apart in our 45 yr marriage as he stayed at our youngest son's in Stevenage as it was nearer than Northampton where we live in a retirement village. He loved every minute of his time as a Games Maker. I have written 2 poems about Paralympians on my facebook page. Thank you the public and athletes!

I'm pretty sure when we signed up for the roles none of us GamesMakers expected anything like the response we received. We've been welcomed into the hearts of the country and treated as stars. We aren't all unemployed bums as doupyourflies seems to think, in fact I don't think I met anyone who was in all my time there. We took holidays from work to do something that we truely felt was worth while, and wasn't it just. Watching this has moved me to tears, as have so many other tributes. Thank you.

Why are volunteer performers (and staff behind the scenes) in the four ceremonies never mentioned? Some rehearsed for up to 150 hours per show - that's a full month of standard hours work.

Not bizarre. People do things for various reasons. I do it rarely and feel guilty afterwards. Stealing work so large conglomerates can benefit isn't something I enjoy and I do it under pressure. This whole thing is very dark and quite scary. Its like Germany early on in the second world war and we are currently at war. Thats why the first thing on radio 5 live news today was the North Korean style quote by the oaf Cameron on Andy Murray's great victory. Worrying times to say the least.

Gamesmakers? Employment breakers. I refuse to join this lower middle class love in. These are the selfish, they do it for themselves because they're wealthy enough to do it. I do the same at events which suit me but I'm a hippie and live with myself on that basis. This was an opportunity for the unemployed and as usual the greediest scuppered it and increased the profits for the greedier. If you were unemployed and doing it why weren't you job seeking while I was at work earning your benefit?

I couldn't make the parade - but all my patients in my diabetic clinic today were treated by a nurse in gamesmaker uniform. Loved being a gamesmaker for the cycling road races and time trials. Only wish I'd had the availability to do the paralympics as well. Brilliant experience.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made London 2012 such a fantastic experience, especially the Games Makers. They should not give the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award to an individual (too many to choose from anyway) but give it to all the London 2012 Games Makers. Eddie Izzards emotions at the end of this video sum up how great they all were.

This video is unwatchable as it keeps freezing! As a gamesmaker I found this very disapointing after having a fabulous games. I was based at the North Greenwich Arena and I spoke to people from all over the world who consistently told us how well organised the games were and what a great job we were all doing. The feedback given was all positive. The whole experience was fantastic but exhausting. A one -off experience that will never happen again in my lifetime!!

I was a Games Maker at the Olympic Park doing Venue Entry. Not the most glamorous job making everybody pour out their liquids etc but everyone was so nice and understanding and overcame my shyness. Yesterday after waking up at 5:30 for a 7am start, volunteered to do the afternoon shift as it was my last day. Then in the evening someone from the paralympic family gave me a closing ceremony ticket, best night ever and a fitting end to a wonderful week, Thank you to him and all the spectators!

All the gamesmaskers did the most amazing job working tirelessly during the Olympics making it such a great experience for every member of publc who attended. You are all superstars indeed. But please also remember those of us who were in the opening and closing ceremonies too and all the volunteers who worked so hard on those shows too, We are all one very big Olympic family and have achieved one of the best Olympic games in memory - Without us it would never have happened !! well done

I was a gamesmaker for 2 weeks at the NGA. I can honestly say they were among the best two weeks of my life. The people I worked with, the public, everyone was just so friendly and happy to be a part of it. Enjoy the parade, wish I could be there, but the uniform will be worn with pride at work :)

I was a Games Maker at the Olympic Park, and had the time of my life. I scanned more tickets, gave more high-fives and took more photos (of spectators) than I ever thought possible. I would love to thank all spectators who gave in their 'spare' tickets - you gave us Games Makers the opportunity see sports we would otherwise have missed, and experience the Park in a way we never dreamed. You say we made YOUR Games - but honestly you made OURS! Thank you all!
