It is extremely rare that I look for a video to fix a problem I'm having and the very first video I watch answers my question perfectly. This video is THAT video. Thank you!!!!

I had to do both sides. The day after I fixed them with Permatex, I had continuity between both connections. For some reason, the right side no longer does. I'm going to solder it this time. Thanks for the video.

Can you heat the splines or add penetrating oil to allow easier removal of bearing? I dread doing mine as it is a rust car from Hew Hampshire where they used salt.

This happened to mine. I did the fix and checked for conductivity. But it still won’t work. Checked the fuse and it seems to be working. Check the connector and it’s fine. Rear wiper and fluid are both working. Anyone got any ideas?

Yeah? It worked out well for my friends Jeep. Keeps the kids apart and the Center console can be modified to suit any taste I guess. His thoughts were, if it doesn’t work out, he’ll just get a replacement seat from the wreckers

Thanks. Strange that your tab won’t pop out, mine was just held in the housing/case by little metal prongs. Held in by friction.

Great video. I couldn’t pop the circular tab out as it seemed all connected to the cable. I’m going to try to glue with cable attached.

I added an accessory to my truck that pulls a few amps- makes my headlights flicker. Considering going up in amps on my alternator/add a second battery. I want to make sure I have enough power to operate lighting. We just got triple teamed by three blizzards this past week, 2 feet of snow- lots of fun to drive in that at early in the morning getting to work, lol. A couple extra lights would have been helpful. I'll have to look into one of those boxes too. @@OTBT_Canada

Hey Brian, thanks and glad you found the video useful. The light was part of a kit specifically for the JK rear window. It taps into the rear interior light via the cable at the rear of the Roll/sport frame. Sorry I don’t remember the name of the kit but a Google search should get you there

Thanks for the great video. Had the same problem as well and this was easier than the soldering project I was originally going to do. The tab is back on and only time will tell if it holds and works. Question…did you install that rear window light yourself? Was it kit?

Hi, did I see that right, you zipped the. OzTent into the Rhino Rack awning?The two zips are the same teeth size? Good review, and funny to hear a Yorkshireman in AB, mind you I'm a Scouser in BC. Cheers!

Oh haha ey up! Yes, the zip is the same and it zips straight onto the awning. Oz tent do a framed version of that tent but the tag-along is frameless and zips onto the awning.

Hey there, the route in was real simple and a nice drive, mostly river bed. On the way back we took a different route but went a step too far, yeah it was a real difficult trail to get through. Not sure we’d of taken it had we known. It was my first visit to the area so I just followed.

why this oil is so black? this looks like oil from diesel motor.. I have 3.6 over 300k miles and oil is transparent yellow during replacement...
@OTBT_Canada
@OTBT_Canada Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching… It’s usually black when I change the oil on the Jeep, I do it around every 10k km. There is an apparent requirement to change it more often here due to lower grade fuels. Could that be the reason?
@xXxbastek
@xXxbastek Жыл бұрын
@@OTBT_Canada Fuel, yes you are right! I forgot that i'm running on LPG, witch is burning very clean, similar to E85.. I don't know how the oil would looks like if my motor was running on gasoline..
