Love the moment in music when there's a very cool section which is repeated immediately after, and then possibly repeated more times just to prove the point. That just grabs my attention and cuts right to the feels. You nailed it at the end here, especially with that part also being the destination which is another concept (song taking you on a journey) I also enjoy a lot.

brooo only listening to this part now, we need an extended 20 minute cut of This Means War with this Act 1, Act 2, this part and the Guitar solo from sylvian. that part at the end of this sounds like it could be a second wind down before the drop that sylvians solo.

I don't think this will happen :) This was just me improvising before recording the actual solo that made it to the final version of the song! But thanks for checking it out!

Not happening the way you think it is... Twitch obviously did this on purpose to make doc admit what he did, he only needs to make one move and it's in twitch favour to deliver the card that will screw doc over even more. The music is great, but the audiobook in it makes it very hard to listen more than once. But even for the first time, it's distracting. I often listen to music while doing something else. With this, I can't. Other than that, I really like it.

I believe that everybody makes mistakes & doc had already admitted back then his situation & just recently. Everybody is going after the wrong guy here, he helps me get thru each day. Affecting me. I've looked up to Doc since 2018. Have sort of stopped watching the streams past couple years however. Just sucks this all had to happen. I'm literally still using the Doc mousepad, have the OG shaker gfuel bottles too lol. No question he get what he deserves, but the social media bashing imo is really bad. Hundreds of comments flooding on his insta, twitter, youtube. Most who don't even watch the Doc just come to join the hate.

@@moneycat878d5hoping it will blow away in a couple of weeks. I'm waiting to see what Doc does now. He has a couple of options and the best one is to do an interview where he apologizes and donates to a charity for abuse victims and then everything goes back to normal (I hope this actually happens). People are dog piling him rn because of him supporting Nickmercs among other things.
@VolkorX26 күн бұрын
I only heard about this whole situation a couple of days ago (yes, I'm living under a space rock, and you can't imagine how good it feels sometimes). Haven't been affected, except for a few comments here and there, and a handful of people unfollowing me on Spotify. I've been thinking about removing the song from my channel, but it seems to bring joy to some people. Plus it's available on other channels anyway, so it would be pretty pointless. By the way, DrD isn't getting any royalties from this song, never has.

Last fall I got married to the love of my life. A very dear friend of mine was there, and little did I know that would be the last time I saw him. Nearly a month after, he ended his own life. Volkor X.. thank you for the music you write. It allows me to feel the anguish of my loss, similar to yours. The pain is haunting amongst the drowning thoughts of all of the "what if" questions that will never have answers. Sometimes pain is better than nothing. For awhile I've been coping with The Loop, and then I wrote a snippet of my own song for my friend, made similar in your post-rock style, "Among The Stars"... but the length and power behind "Gone" really allows us to become immersed. Maybe one day I'll finish the song.. but for now, this is enough.
@VolkorXАй бұрын
I'm sorry for your loss. The "what ifs" are perhaps the most painful part... I was hesitant to release this song publicly, thinking that having written it was enough for me, and I could just listen to it or sing it in my head when I needed to. Now that I have released it and received so many comments and private messages, I'm happy I did. I hope you finish your song one day and that it helps you as much as it helped me. Thank you for your kind words.
