Great vid. Thinking about this for local runabout and keep the GS for touring/rideouts. A couple thoughts, locking petrol cap? I’m 185cm and 85kg so reckon should work as I’d only be looking a 40 mile runs. Agreed a nicer can and top box.
@Andre-Mostert7 сағат бұрын
This is why I got this little one as my bigger bike its a pain to get through the Reading traffic. This is almost push bike light. I am about 80kg and 178cm. Its small but it works for my use. Not as cramped as a sports bike for instance. The seat is hard and yes the fuel cap is locked with the key. Also think of getting a good disc lock that is solid secure rated as this bike is light and might be up for the taking. I use it pretty much every day and then the bigger bike on the weekends. £7.50 for about 180miles of range. Loads of upgrades if needed. Only things that I can warn about is that the bike is small, my old knees hurt after a while. It only goes up to about 60mph on a flat road and the front light is not great during the winter. Insurance I took out fire and theft £80. Hope this helps. Might also be worth to check out a second hard KTM 390 duke as they go for the same price. That is if you like KTM. Keep well and shout if you have more questions.

Nice place to ride ...especially as it's winter here in the northern hemisphere and you have escaped the UK for sunnier climes....envious. Nice review ... I'm considering the Falcon as a short-run wheel ... although I need to loose some weight being 90kg in weight. I see EUC-Royalty (Marty) has given advice on the suspension -- if anyone knows, he does. Take another week in SA ... I hear the weather is diabolical back in the UK! Tchau-tchau from Portugal Rick

Orange is the softer spring. If it feels too stiff for you, the compression is probably set to high. You should adjust the compression and rebound to make it work better for you. You have to remove the top cover to make these adjustments. Well worth 10-minutes of your time to do so.

How are the stock pads working out for you?
@Andre-Mostert20 күн бұрын
I have not done a good bit of miles and they are good enough to get you going and this is what I like. Most of the more pricy wheel you need to go and spend even more money on pads. They are soft and they protect the wheel very well from the sides. But if you wanting to jump or do any fast trail riding then you going to have to look at some other pads. For normal riding and so on its spot on.

Nice, yes up there its super hot. Its at the moment sitting at 30-38 later in the week. Degrees C so pretty nice. Today the wind is pumping so we are hiding away. The Falcon is a rental from iroll.co.za. They sorted me out the last time and when the guy said he has a Falcon I jumped on it as I wanted to ride it. So far its a nice wheel but the street tyre is pretty useless on the gravel/sandy trails. But still fun to ride with short on and not cops to bother you lol.

The front brakes are sorted under warranty and the service light issue was fixed with a firmware update months ago. If you get one now these new bike problems should be sorted out. Yes, walking and running its fine. Its just that extra speed that you need a bit more oomph from the drone. But if it can follow faster then it would be able to track from the front faster. We just need them to sort this out in the firmware. Hope this helps.

Most people seem to react positively to my EUC, they are usually curious about how long it takes to learn. whether you fall off, how it works, the usual questions. I like talking to people on route, part of the experience of the ride out. I filmed a ride I made with my Brother-in-law on the Isle of Wight, apart from that not too many EUC videos from me lately. Have been doing other things. Have been doing some home jobs and stuff to do with other hobbies, radio in particular but not sure how that mixes with EUC videos. but perhaps I should do a few and see how they are received.

For Direction Track, the system locks on to your position after you pause for a few seconds. If it’s in front of you, and you pause your movement, then turn to its side, then start walking again, it’ll track from your side. Each time you pause for about 3 seconds, it uses the new position to track from. But yes, if you move too quickly, it defaults to follow mode.
