Wont your method of changing every term to the highest order not work if there was a negative coefficient in the term that would dominate the first term? How do you apply your method/algorithm to such problems?

THANK U SO MUCH! You don't know how much you have made me happy when I finally understood it. Best explanation I've heard, very detailed and very easy to understand. This is something that seems and that people tell us is harder than it is!

🤯 ive been noticing, for about a year now, well i thought I stumbled onto something amazing. In my studies, in pathophysiology nursing books, medications, etc...that all i needed to know was one half of a range...say...rubella vaccination schedule. All i needed to know was either the number 3 or 4. I chose 1 chose to remember- 3 things mixed in 1 shot of( MMR ) 4 times. Or just pick out the number's in rubella, 18,20,2,5,12,12,1. This discovery was like holy cow, if i share this, peoples will think im crazy. Or how how about there are 26 chromosomes from 2 parents, we have 46 totaled. Then add that you get 10! 23 = 5 and from the other parent another 23= 5 take X chromosome, thats a 10 there, but you put 5 on each leg of X= THAT'S A PERFECT 10, A SQUARE, and it has to explain that ua guys y chromosome, need the X- because it completes us, ....and so on and so on. DNA runs in a 5 to 3 prine direction. So- thats been helpful flr me learning my stuff. Anyways i didnt know what that was called. Then i woke up this week- it hit me! MAGIC NUMBERS!!! The fibinache thing, nature, omg. And so this has finaly led me to this...prime factoring. I csn take- not always but of the time- i just need one value and i can quickly get the range.

If I get something like 7x3 + 3x2 + 23 is O(x4). So do I bump the exponents to x4 like; 7x4 + 3x4 + 23x4. Right or no?? Help

why don't more instructors highlight the fact that you don't need to have a specfic one solution for prooving big O. this has been confusing me for few weeks until now. Thank you so much.
