Revisiting this video after Gavin released a re-recording of Chariot for the 20th anniversary. I love every version of this song but this performance in particular has stayed with me for over 15 years. This is music in its purest form. Thank you for keeping this video up all these years so that I can revisit every couple years or so <3

Wow were you able to hear that in person? I've heard Chariot was moodier and had some alternate lyrics. Someone said the original lyrics were "I'm open wide, I'm singing out loud" instead of "Oh chariot, I'm singing out loud." They also said no lyrics on the bridge yet. That part is backed up by an older recording "Live At Wilson's" where there's no lyrics on the bridge. Also his voice in those days were extra bluesy!
