This song was dedicated to me by one of my exes and our relationship was just like this. No matter how hateful she was to me and no matter what hurtful shit she said I always went back when she wanted me to. Finally it came to a head when she went too far and threatened me with a restraining order. Now I’m married and I’ve spoke with her again and found out there was a reason she was the way she was and she really did love me and wished I would’ve stayed. Kills me to know it now but you can only be pushed so far and the cops being involved over nothing was where I drew the line.

Avoident and dismissive attachment.... You love them but you can't show them then you lose power and control and that makes you vulnerable and means you have to trust they love you and not leave you. you don't love yourself how can anyone else? Usually stems from being neglected as a child. you're subconsciously terrified they will leave you, So you play games, manipulate, you put them down and When you see them crying over you or a reaction of sadness it makes you feel loved. The trauma runs so deep that it's difficult to function in a normal relationship.

For me I think she's showing the paradoxality of love, how we can really love someone by hurting him. When he/she is there we take it for granted; as our personal property, meaning we can do all we want. But when he goes, we see the missing gab and we realize we can't live without him.

This so is beautiful, but oh so toxic. Reminds me of my first relationship. The only thing missing is the man's side; the tears, the weird dreams, the stomach in knots and constanly having your resolve broken only to feel weak and stupid when things repeat. Great song.

Its not pinks fault you keep endding up in toxic situations. 😂😂😂If you keep ending up with toxic, abusive people, you need to do some reflecting on yourself. Disrupt patterns, heal yourself and stop ignoring red flags. Men can be just as toxic, but we humans can heal and have healthy relationships.
