Lol thank god the one time they had stormtrooper aim. I got hit by them and the larger ranged enemies that spawn past 2/3health so many times. Got a little extra cautious after getting that gift on this one

Yeah game still needs performance patch all around. Would get into 30s on PC if I restarted encounter a few times even though it’s 60 first shot.

what an absolute trash boss fight, for me he just stays in the middle summoning infinite flamer dude with nigh infinite hp who just teleport to you so you can literally not do shit but try to shoot them and back up who the fuck designed this trash?

Dude I did the same thing first time fighting him, thought you might have to weaken him when you kill the flamethrower guys. I didn’t realize you can even pop the barriers of all the caster types if you hit the middle of the eyes on the barriers until now way after beating it. The fight will just go on forever if you don’t pop the barriers which there isn’t really much of a hint of. They should cut out the adds in the boss fights and make the bosses threatening by themselves. Final boss is much better designed

@@FBIMichaelScarn Yea I remember its definitely nice to see it wasn't what we thought it was at first with that fight. Once you figured out you can break his shield or whatever when he goes to the middle is a massive time save.

Im on this right now been trying all day how the f$#% did you take no damage crazy bro the emperor guides you brother...just wondering have you encountered the glitches when you die and repeat, and get to the part where you have to shoot the demons eye and you can't pick up ammo or reload, cuz i have ,, i have to turn off my xbox and reload in so it doesn't happen..

Thanks haha it did take almost 4 hours straight to get this perfectly. Yeah this game gets very glitchy on PC too, I had to quit out because Imurah disappears after too many checkpoint reloads. One of my buddies did have the ammo glitch happen on PC too so hopefully they fix that ASAP. You’ll definitely complete this since you already got to the eye, just have to watch out for his summon spirit attack and keep distance when he’s far away and spams that. The eye you just need to dodge 3-4 ground portals then unload. No need to rush since it’s 2 cycles no matter what you do. Good luck with the fight, I’m sure you will get it soon!!!

There are 2 things I hate the most about this boss. 1st somehow the game forced you to use this shitty rifle eventhough there was other guns for you to choose right before the boss fight. 2nd part, his "nonstop yapping". Big salute for you to be able to keep doing this and withstand his yapping 😫

Hahaha this one was almost 4 hours of straight retries. I thought I had it after 2 but noticed I lost a bar lost mid fight from the homing spirits he sends out. Happy to get the final final section with no damage post boss fight too, surprisingly tricky!

Holy shit thanks a lot ! Fighting this POS in melee is a billion times easier than trying to perfect-dodge its bugged hitboxes lmao Gang on him on melee + block the easily telegraphed hits. Bonus: don't stand in front of it in melee, it will shoot a long singular salvo of needles. HOWEVER, this also means you can bait out this attack and it will be stuck in place for at least 5s Once I got it down to the last health segment, I retreated when it was in one such animation and stuck 2 Krak grenades to it. It wasn't enough and I ended up having to dodge 3 charges in a row (+ Melta) to finish it off. So yeah, sticky to melee is my go to advice for now lol

Awesome congrats! Good idea using the Krak grenades. They are awesome in this and have some crazy magentism, been using them for the floating/caster enemy types since they one shot them down to execute state on Angel of Death even instead of 100+ rounds. Avoiding those charges under pressure is really impressive too, that perfect dodge cancel is super late!

@@FBIMichaelScarn yeah, I've had to restart some missions just to have some Krak nades for the floating "psycher" tyranids. You don't get a "trajectory indicator", only a landing spot so it's a bit tricky to stick it to'em but, as you said, the magnetism is pretty generous. For my first encounter with this Carnifex, I had 1 left but the ammo boxes by the door where the Carnifex comes in (the boxes look like decoration and you have to hit/roll into them to break) drop another 2 Krak nades

I had a slight dodge after the blue parry popped up which gives a weird interaction where if you parry after it doesn’t always work and you are not locked into it since the enemy is leaping at your previous spot.

Wtf lad.... I streamed yesterday for 4 hours the last I think hour was me fighting this abomination and dying ... I tried the heavy bolter ... The flamer the melta and everytime I got him to 3/4 he fucked me .. but everytime I got.near the melee with my power sword he swing and I did think I could parry him , not to mention all times he would charge up a red attack and still chunk half my health when he hit no where near .... I was tired at the point but I just didn't think you be able to parry the beast .. OMFG I'm going live again soon and starting at the entrance to that lair I imagine. So I'm trying my best to do how you just did.... I am on angel of death diff too

Yeah this took a good couple hours to get. His opening red leap attack you can perfect dodge but need to go to the side since his follow up will hit you even if using the special reticle execution. It seems he takes way more damage after perfect parry when flashing, you just have to be EARLY to get that parry. Half health the adds come in but if you stay close and mix in more shooting they don’t bother you as much. If directly behind him he does an almost unreactable 180 attack you have to watch for. Good luck, you should be able to get through it today!!

Haha I think the perfect parries make them take way more damage you can see when he’s flashing so it’s way faster than kiting. I changed my mind on this max difficulty possibly having a decent speedrun from learning this fight. Seemed like a 5 minute minimum to now 90 seconds

Just got into this game got about 12 hours play time and only just got to the crush gauntlet... I'm on normal mode as well how do you do it all in 2 and a half hours it's insane!! GGs underrated run ❤

Thank you so much! Glad you are enjoying it, it’s really fun messing with the essence stones since most of them are useful from my runs/casual playthroughs. It took me 20 hours to get around 80% complete first playthrough so you are doing great! The first run of this failed at almost 7 hours so it has come a loooong way. This game is extremely underrated and the mechanics lead to a really fun speed run living dangerously with the momentum. Hope you enjoy the rest too!!

question... after Parry how u doin leg kick ? when im playing this mission yesterday after perfect parry next move is up fist. Is issue difficulty level ?

Hmm every time first few months of release it was a kick after a perfect parry. It is possible they changed animation or rebalanced it since my all boss videos were done before they added NG+ and might have tweaked some things. I’ll try to check this week and let you know!

Haha just remember if you are jumping too high and they are falling you are late on your follow up swing. It’s fast but not tooooo fast. Almost easier if using two fingers and alternating until you get the rhythm

@@FBIMichaelScarn I agree Mikey is very strong in this game. Raph will be the hardest right especially not being powered up like this? I know Leo is also hard mode like this though. I think you said you can play pretty safe with Don which will be slow but, a little easier.

Yeah Leo I think will be the next easiest due to having 2 specials that are invulnerable like a dash to start. Don will be the slowest for sure but with good drops can pull this off. Raph should destroy Shredder but getting there is going to be hard due to his range. Will need lucky drops on the Tool since his grappling hook while fun casually is garbage when it counts but the meteor/flame/ooze random drops can help

Yeah this game was awesome, really nailed that Batman Arkham/Sifu combat mix. I read they nerfed the final encounter from here quite a bit since it was pretty nasty. I hope the devs can get a solid budget to expand on this, it’s such a fun time!

Thanks!! When you beat the game it wrapped back around to the beginning I think around launch. I’m not sure if they added level select so it was difficult to practice individual levels/segments unless you manually copied your saves. I was looking to go back to this for NG Japanese Hard speedrun after they had a huge patch and rework recently. This game was extremely underrated by critics, glad you gave it a chance and are enjoying it too!!

From the beginning you have the air attack unlocked. And how do you change characters without going through the main menu? Nah this was any % new game from fresh save file near launch. Love to revisit this but there are so many unskippable and slow walk cutscenes. Such a fun game in combat/movement and boss battles though!

Once you get the flow it feels great, surprised they actually put legit jump cancel in a mobile game. It’s a shame it’s not optimal way to damage bosses with most characters but fun in purgatory. GGs!
