Ladies & Gentlemen, this is a DIRECT result of land neglect. If the overgrowth, dead trees, & dead brush was cleared out, this would be a HELL of a lot less of a concern. If the environmentalists and other extremist vermin would quite lobbying to prevent this kind of preventive maintenance, then things would be better. I guarantee that you will see mudslides as a direct result of these fires.

I always had to clear the pad and open the chain gate when we heard they were coming from la to Sierra Vista. blades are pretty low when they aren’t moving and hide your hat!

Looks like a Sikorsky. I flew EMS for the last 10 of my 40-years flying career, and landing on buildings was the most fun. Although it sometimes made the Medical crew a bit nervous. Especially when hospitals were doing some expansions and I had to dance around the cranes. UNC Chapel Hill was a blast when there was a Football game. The pad was directly behind the stadium. 😊

I really love the roof top take offs and landings. Not only that, I like helicopters with the triple flash strobe lights,....they make the helicopter look so cool to me. In addition, on this video a person can truly see how powerful those landing lights are. They light up the whole building when the pilot turned them on. Great video!!!

an old family friend was a DEA chopper pilot... plenty of stories from many countries if i can remember them right. he inspired me to follow this path, along with my AF veteran Dad. after retirement, he taught folks how to chopper. one day it didn't go as planned... kid lived, he didn't. LS was gone and so was my dream. I've made good since, but watching this is too many more words to type. Thank you for posting.
