if it needs front shocks , why dont they put them in before selling?

The Merc is nice but with respect to the owner, I prefer original stock.

These Series 63s are pretty rare, as they were offered only in 41 and 42, and 1942 was shortened by the war.

Nice 58. But it’s a post 2dr. Special. Hope you get your asking price.

The 1940 Buick is a Super, not a Special. The model name is on the pull-out handle to open the hood.

My birth year. Two classics 😂 My first car was a 49 Roadmaster sedanette. It was very similar in design as this 41. The 49 brought back the parking lights / turn signals on the fenders. The ventiports also returned.

Edsel!!!
@TomSpeaks-vw1zp2 күн бұрын
The Edsel as I saw it was out of the norm for Ford. They gave it a chance, then the economics won out. I had no feelings for it one way or the other. But there were some people who really liked it. Fast forward. There’s Edsel clubs, and you usually see a couple at local car shows. One of the nice things about classic car people is there’s always something for everyone. I try not to criticize others cars. They put a lot of money, time and energy into something they love. I feel blessed that I owned a few of these cars for my daily drivers before they became classics.

It almost brings tears to my eyes, how our government allowed the radical environmentalists and the Japanese to destroy our world-beating auto industry and by extension, our steel industry as well. Such a shame what we have lost, and such a shame what replaced it - armies of homeless who are trapped in a life of poverty and misery.
@michaelbenardo56959 күн бұрын
Wow, that 1944 Ford F2 is SUPER rare, even rarer than the 42s! As you probably know, civilian auto production was halted on February 3, 1942, for the duration. Dealer's inventory was frozen - the vehicles were mainly allotted to the military on an as-needed basis. People who were able to prove that they genuinely needed a new car - doctors, for example - would be given a priority certificate that would allow them to purchase a new car from that frozen inventory. By 1944, the need for new trucks had become acute, so the government allowed to produce a small run of trucks, hence, this truck. Also, after all the sedans, which is what the military and other government departments use, a few hundred cars were assembled by hand, again for the military.

59 Olds wage. But 70.000 "original miles". What is original is that front seat! Porkies! And this is only a glance. Classic Car Finds, we trust you guys. Don't let $28 grand "rubbish", spoil your reputations. Dude is spoilen for big, quick buck. Sorry guy's it's a rip-off!

Pontiac designers did a poor job for the 1958 model year, Chevrolet designers did a better job for the 1958 model year with same basic body.

I remember people paying 35 bucks for a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville or anything from the late 50s in the 70s just to run em around on old coal truck roads and they ran good but nobody saw value in cars like that in the 70s. The interior and body's was all good. The guy wanted 75 bucks for 1 like that but 35 was most usually what alot of cars like that sold for. 35 bucks was like 350 back in the 70s and 60s..My dad paid 50 bucks for a 1956 Cadillac convertible and it ran really good with a good body and everything except for the top but he patched it up to where you couldn't tell that it had a few rips in the top
