i dont understand what you really want ^^ your CPU is overkill for the slow ass GPU ... isnt the 4060 only with slow 8GB VRAM? slower then a 3060?

I watched a video of someone with Ryzen 7 9800x3d and RTX4070Super. Same high settings as me and i get more fps only at medium settings he gets more with it. Iam mostly playing CS2 and there someone with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and RTX4080 which is better then mine got 70FPS more on the Benchmarkmap. In that case iam not a pro in any of that games just a good casual and doing a 800€ upgrade for maybe 40-50fps isnt worth it for sure. Only worth it if you wanna play Tarkov Warzone any other hard CPU game at low settings. I have to money to upgrade but dont wanna go that Route my system works and i dont wanna have the risk of buying something new that crashes. For 90% of the playerbase this is still fine. Only 10% of players that run a 360Hz or 500Hz FullHD Monitor need a Ryzen 7 7800x3d or 9800x3d (how many of them really are Pro?^^) But it all depends on you what you wanna do with it.

because i needed more fps in CS2 with a RTX2070Super i only got 70-90fps at max settings 1440p. now iam getting around 250-300fps Iam casualy playing Fortnite with some friends. I compared my system to a Ryzen 7 9800x3d RTX4070Super he is on FullHD iam on WQHD and on Max or High settings i get more fps which is kinda what you would expect because my GPU is a bit better. Only at Medium his FPS runs away but iam not pro and want good graphics. I wouldve gotten me a Ryzen 7 9800x3d this year but not for the Price of 569€ thats waaaaay to much for it. Last year i couldve bought the 7800x3d for 320€ that would be a banger. At 1440p Max Settings the i9 9900k is still more then fine even with a RTX4090 :) And yeah in CS2 someone with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and RTX4080 only got 70fps more same settings on the Benchmarkmap. so whats the difference for me when i upgrade 40fps at max? is that really worth 800-900€ ? never ever

You're only really getting RTX 3060 to maybe RTX 3060 Ti level performance because your Intel i9 9900K is way too old for the RTX 4070 Ti and bottlenecks it. With you current motherboard and RAM you can get an 11th gen intel i9 which would be good enough to not have any bottleneck on the 4070 Ti. Those are a bit over $200 but you can sell your current CPU for maybe $80-$100. I'd recommend upgrading the CPU so your 4070 Ti doesn't keep going to waste with that huge bottleneck.

if you guys suspect significant frame drops on 9900k I suggest you may be experiencing VRM overheat.

"-threads 17 -high" launch options (without quotes) should help.. If you had an NVIDIA GPU, try to install the NVIDIA driver via NVCleanstall. Why? because once the MSI-Mode is set to high for the GPU, MSI requests being high will only mean your GPU will get higher CPU response priority. So lesser CPU-GPU latency. In-easy languages : faster communication between the GPU to draw frames by frames along the CPU Don't forget Windows & NVIDIA/AMD Power Plan, set both to High-Performance

i play 1440p max iam fine with the performance the uplift even with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d is not worth the cost for me 400+ fps in 2k you need the RTX4090

@@mnaufalalauddin maybe its not the cpu power your reading :) maybe its the cpucoolerpump wattage. We both got the rtx4070ti no need to upgrade to a higher one. I just wanna know how much more i would get if i had a 9800x3d still waiting for someone to do some benchmarks

@@sYneticSilver idk bro, HWMonitor info shows incorrect reading too.. i'm confused too :) Yup 4070 Ti Super here, even on my 27 Inch 4K 144Hz (ROG XG27UQ) it runs game like a champ, even though i've just sold that monitor for my motorcycle modification (155cc to 276cc : 70 bore x 72 stroke 4 valve single cylinder maxi scooter, Yamaha Aerox) Guessing from F0rest (former CS:GO pros) KZbin videos, on New de_train he's getting 500 ish fps.. i'm guessing newer CPU are capable of getting that range of FPS in CS2, even I don't know whats the specific specs of his PC. We could guess it's should be the CPU, i'm sure my tweaking through NVIDIA Driver alone via NVCleanstall (MSI Mode: All-Processors in Machine) is all ok, no worries. But still no near to f0rest in-game FPS..

I also have an i9-9900k and a 2070 Super. Playing at 1280x960 (4:3), I am only getting a maximum average of 230 FPS. I'm considering upgrading my GPU to a 4070S/7800XT or perhaps upgrading my CPU, motherboard, and RAM altogether. What do you think I should do? Thank you.

I compete at a very high level in CS2. Not happy with my PC performance, getting frame drops and game feels smoother at 1024 compared to 1280. CPU i9 9900k GPU 2080 Super Ram 16gb 3200MHz Ram is def a bottleneck now but I'm considering if I should upgrade the whole lot. Suggestions? Also, does running at 27 inch monitor compared to 24 affect?

RAM is not the Problem here ^^ its the whole System. Most still play on 24 inch 1920x1080 but in that resolution the i9 9900k clearly has Problems to get high 300 FPS+ / i have 27 inch 1440p 240Hz for now iam happy witht the Setup i would now buy a RTX4080 Super to pair with the i9 9900k 1440p but i dont know how this will perform in 1080p i guess 350fps not more. I would wait for the new AMD CPUs that will come out this year. Ryzen 7 9800x3d :)

would you recomend buying 4070? i have i9 9900k too but 1080ti and getting only around 200-250fps with more drops to below 150 in cs2.. thanks for the video too!

i would at least go for the RTX4070 Super but yeah depends. I think the RTX4070 only requires 1x 8Pin Power and the Super needs the 12VHPWR Connector.

@@bigdani09 yeah in 1080p in some games you can really see the bottlenecks from the CPU compared to a Ryzen 7 7800x3d best chip in the world now. But for me playing in 1440p the GPU ist mostly at 95-100% and the CPU at like 30-50% and thats pretty fine for me. Iam maybe waiting for the Ryzen 7 9800x3d but i dont wanna buy instant. Never buy new shit. Mostly not worth the struggle see whats happening with Intel 13th and 14th gen. Besides that fakt that after the i9 9900k the chips from intel were not that great compared to AMD. Iam normally full Intel/Nvidia boy since 2010 but i guess i shift to AMD/NVIDA now :)

i would not call it luck ^^ i have a job iam 33 and could afford the 900 bucks for the RTX4070TI a year ago. But i would really like to have a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and RTX4090 tba ^^ but thats a bit to much for me as well. My PC builds were always midtier/high but never highend since 2010.

If your new to overclocking dont do it :) / It did take along time of testing to get it stable on 5.0GHz. I did put Vcore on 1.31v, which is kinda in the Midrange. There are some lucky guys out there that can reach 5.2GHz with under 1.30v. If iam for real. just dont do it ^^ its not worth the time. I just did it because i have nothing better to do haha. For most out there safe some money and buy a new PC with a Ryzen 7 7800x3D and RTX4070TI. More isnt really needed for a good 1440p experience.

if you'd go with r7 3700x back then you could upgrade to r7 5800x3d now and achieve 400fps easily, think about it next time you'd want to buy intel pc

@@sYneticSilver well it didn't on max settings but it was gpu limited and on low settings (1440p) the fps didn't go below 400, just show how much worse the i9 9900k is and proves my point, if your pc is gpu limited then even 2x better cpu can't fix your fps, on this i9 9900k setup you wont achieve 500fps even on 1280x960 lowest settings BEACAUSE ITS CPU LIMITED THERE

@@shockat5070 so saving money on not buying a newer CPU with Mainboard Ram that cost me another 800€ that maybe can give me 400fps on max 1440p that i dont really need anyway is a bad thing? The i9 9900k from 2018 is clearly still good enough. Thats what i can say :)

as i answered in the other video it will kinda be the same as seen in this video. 1440p is a bit easier for this Setup. For now something seems wrong after the Valve Patch from the 10.10.2023 Performance is pretty bad. But i guess it will get better soon again. Iam happy with the Performance i did get with upgrading from the RTX2070Super.

Mate this is so bottlenecked. Your CPU is much to weak for your GPU. you lose 30% performence of your GPU in addition, your motherboard also limits the performance of the 4070ti. PCIe 3.0 has a lower bandwidth before you upgrade the next time, you should inform yourself. you have probably thrown some money out of the window ...AAAAND you use VA-PANEL to play CS :D Whats wrong with you? :D you buyed a 500 bucks (around) screen with a VA-Panel. your money is so wasted

This monitor is actually one of the best VA panels, no smearing whatsoever and very low input lag and response times.
