I can't remember...the car has since been sold. The video is the best I could tell ya. 3 screws hold the actuator on. Refer to the examples at the beginning of video for actuator screw location. I don't remember the actual duct having any screws holding it in place. The duct on the drivers side needed to be removed...as best I remembered

@@hotrodswoodshed7405 Thanks for replying after all this time from your video. On another video I found it does show the center duct underneath the mode actuator having 2 bolts. This is amazing video. I followed every step.. and I was successful. I resurfaced the headliner.. got everything back in except for the rear. Seems a little tricky. Not sure whether I should pull the fasteners out of the car.. and then put them on the trim.. or try to fish it back in. I wonder how hotrod did it?
@hotrodswoodshed7405
@hotrodswoodshed7405 2 ай бұрын
@@usajewels99 I pulled the fasteners for the rear sail panels out AFTER removing the panels.. and installed them back in the plastic trim and then popped trim in place. Btw big thx for confirmation that I actually helped someone else. That's my goal, just like others videos help me. I can NOT tolerate a babbling rambling video of useless info. So that's what I try to put out... strait to the point.. "just the facts mister"
@usajewels99

That was my gut reaction when I saw it. But each time I try to pull fasteners.. I destroy them. I actually got the job done by lining up the pins and pushing them back the same way you said to take them out. If you keep the gasket off. You can see and line it up. Anyway Iam done… and thanks to you I did not break anything. 2000 Black Bonneville

You call that squashed up? Anybody can take a look under the hood if they want to see squashed up. Eight hours to change out the starter. I saw one of the "designers" bragging in a YT comment about how they designed the body to suit their tastes and then watched the engineers make everything fit inside. Great 3.5L engine though---very peppy.
