I've done over half a dozen of these on different cars that I have owned, and the hardest part is always having to make multiple stabs at the correct recess to set the depth of the control knobs. Went and purchased a set of upper and lowers for the price of one set of the other guys. Just came in and they lol great. Buying the gorilla glue to do the bench work on the bushings. One thing I noticed with my just is no new hardware for the upper arms. Reuse the old hardware?
@hotrodswoodshed740527 күн бұрын
@mattbriggs7510 I wasn't a fan of their new bolts that came with them. Honestly I stripped the threads on a nut that came in the lower A arm mounts that bolt it to the car frame. That implied inferior quality. The original GM ones are more trusted.. but I'm thinking they were a little short to go thru the new A-arm mounting tabs. You be better off throwing the Chinese bolt/nuts in the trash.... and purchase some Grade 8 at rural king or your local farm/auto store. On the top drivers side I specifically hade exhaust header clearance issues...so I flipped around the upper mount bolts (for better increased clearance) . I believe I talked about that in the video.

That was my gut reaction when I saw it. But each time I try to pull fasteners.. I destroy them.
