I can only say that the IC used on the board was able to meet the power output rating on the datasheet . One way to check if it is genuine or not is to melt the package with strong solution and check if the chip inside is real or counterfeit, unfortunately it is difficult to get stuff like this here.

Ask the seller for the temperature controlled fan version of the power supply. The one I got is the cheaper version of the PSU which do not have the temp. control for the fan.

Hindi to pweding ikabit diretso sa 220v o 120v. Kailangan nito ng hiwalay na power supply, dual polarity DC minimum 65V-0-65V, maximum 80V-0-80V. It is a capacitor, it is soldered directly to the tip of the probe of the scope so I don't have to use the ground clip of the probe.

That output is terrible. The output filter is doing a poor job. You didn't say what load resistance you used. It might work better with a different load. The triangle shape of the waveform is also bad. Maybe a wrong value capacitor or poor pcb layout. Also maybe a counterfeit I.C. , you never know with these Chinese amps. At least it didn't catch on fire.

Yeah I forgot to show the load resistance for the test, it is 8 Ohms. Also forgot to show the THD for the board, I might do another video for 6|4 ohms load and show the THD for the board.

Hi, I have tested the power supply as you show and mine is working fine. There is also very little DC at the output <1mV. What else could be causing the loud hum?

I recently got a 1000va toridial transformer that has 51 0 51, 15 0 15, and 12 0 12 taps. It makes 72vdc after the rectifier. It's too bad the sine wave doesn't look too good. Would it still be ok for a subwoofer and would it cause any damage?

Should be ok for a sub driver make sure to add a subwoofer crossover filter to further remove the high freq noise. 72 Volts is fine, the power supply for the board says 60V to 80V can be seen in the video at around 3:04 mark, pause the vid it is beside the red capacitor, top right.

Hi I had this board powered via a 65v - 0 - 65v Dual AC PSU 600w and brought 2 units. The first unit I had working for 1 day working incredibly well and then the board got fried after taking the circuit apart and putting back togather. The second one Hooked up like the first and when powered on only the fan starts spinning no sound output. I am running the output into a JVC 12 inch DRV sub 350w RMS with 1200w Max @ 4ohms speaker impedance. I should have come to this page first to do study. Your lessons have taught me about this board circuit. 1.My PSU unit is to many volts you stated that this board will shutdown over 44 volts with 4 ohms impedance. 2.At 4ohms impedance the board output Watts RMS is far to low for my speaker. 3.The fan power will still work as the audio circuit is seperate. Going of what you are saying this board is shutting down at the sound output stage in other words the Board circuit is not powerful enough and the seller does not supply enough information this certainly is not a 500w board as they have explained. It is amazing to see just as I had imagined how to test the Audio Signal in the way you have now I understand what has happened with this particular board. Up until now the board only turned the fan on with no sound out. So going of what you have said as my speaker is in the last on the list: Power PSU voltage:43 volts. RMS output: 58w. Impedance:4 ohms. And that this board does not like 4ohms impedance.

Hello. After watching this video I decided to buy the same amplifier. I am satisfied with the amplifier, but there is one thing that annoys me. When I turn this amp on or off, there is a very loud boom in the speakers. Does your amp have the same problem? . I have already ordered the speaker protection board, but I wonder if everything is ok in my amplifier

Yeah, this is normal, mine does it too. Using a speaker protection board is a good idea since it also protects the speaker if a large dc appears on the output.

Both channels of the board is already BTL(Bridge) so I assume you mean to parallel the 2 channels to get PBTL, The description for this board does not mention anything about PBTL support so I don't think the board supports it. If your looking for PBTL board try searching Aliexpress for TPA3255 600W Mono Board. Remove the heat sink, check wether there is thermal paste or not. Many are being delivered without the thermal paste. Easy solution

The power supply has a single output only and can't be used with amp that requires dual polarity power supply.
